A strikingly split coat and effeminate, tousled beauty makes Trygve stand out in any circumstance. His demeanor is easily clocked as a surly, off-putting boy with a pretty face and thousand-yard stare. Easily mistaken for all-brawn no-brains with a short fuse.

bastardized copy of one father, haunting echo of a sorrowful past to the other. despite the complicated griefs of his childhood, trygve was a loved child. an accident during a storm leads him to fall to his presumed death in the sea. the trauma of the near-death experience and subsequent days of solitude proves too much to cope with for the boy, forcing him to repress his memories from before the sea took him.

Cared for after his ordeal by the kindly Akira for a few months. Her disappearance cemented Trygve's abandonment issues, and loss cropped up everywhere he went. Aimless, convinced he is cursed, his commitment to the blossoming friendship he began with the muradoii orphan Yakone is his guiding light in the fog. Most recently, the yearlings seek out a pack to weather Mythris' brutal winter in.

Trygve has largely neglected the development of his personality, having been forced to mostly raise himself while festering with the internalized belief that he is cursed and inhuman. The boy is fiercely independent and coldly realistic about the brutal world he lives in. Despite his realism, he harbors quite a bit of superstition, stitched together from his conclusions drawn from the loss he's suffered and the vague memories he has of his beliefs from before falling into the sea.

He is wary of authority figures and habitually operates under a transactional mindset, but he's naturally curious and is motivated to learn. His hypervigilance and abandonment issues make it very hard for him to form connections with others even if he craves it. Under the prickly and snarky exterior, he has a genuine sensitivity and kindness that sometimes leads him to make moments of real connection and vulnerability.
