The sort to fit her nickname near-perfectly. Would have, outwardly, been the sort to keep an image of sitting and bowing to her husband while helping anyone she could.
Quiet and soft spoken, and, for a while before the betrothal, just as religious as the rest of the packs and her own family. In the years following, she’s not entirely sure she believes in anything, religion wise, and if she does she’s pretty sure she resents it on a level close to what would have her labeled a heretic.
Beneath that softer exterior is someone who knows what she wants, when she wants it, and is quick to figure out how she can make it happen. Prying any actual emotions, beyond a few select ones, would be easier said than done, as she’s forced herself to make a mask that may or may not be herself at this point- the extent of how bitter she is at everything is still something even Ylva doesn’t know yet, if she’s being honest.
One thing she doesn’t hide, though, is her love for her daughter- and, while on a lesser scale too from years of it being a secret, how much she cares for Brynhild. She wants the best for them, both of them, and while she’s not a fighter she’s not at all above pulling the strings however she can to give them the best life possible. Or, barring that, a life that’s safe to live in.
