Vain and brassy with rare glimpses of vulnerability. Even then, it’s usually a ploy for her own gain, as she believes life is a ruthless game of social climbing. A lack of parental figures has manifested as fierce self-reliance and a general malaise of wolf-kind. Weaponizes sex. Has an extreme fear of being left behind, so refuses to become attached.
Born to single mother,
Sivaak, during a time of great tumult within the Saatsine. In-fighting divided the pack and with war looming they were forced to abandon the caribou herds. The band traveled hundreds of miles to the sea where they took refuge along the wooded coast. The pack sought to reform, but with the
lanzadoii chieftain,
Cen , taking her mother as a mate, Yakone brooded for the survival of the
muradoii. Out in the moors, she met an orphan boy,
Trygve, who hunted and commiserated with her.
Soon after, a hunting accident claimed the life of her brother, and with the disappearance of
Sivaak and
Cetseni, Yakone abandoned the Saatsine, her only charge bringing Ts'okhun's body to rest at sea. She was followed by Trygve, and together the juveniles eek out an existence in a world that has forgotten them.
