appearance
Scarlett is a striking little thing, built taller than one might expect but softened by a plush sturdy sort of stockiness that keeps her from looking ‘delicate’. There is a clear domestic influence in her features, most noticeably in the sweeter shape of her face, she lacks harsh narrow angles of more wolfish pups and instead bears a distinct dog-like softness through her muzzle and brow. It gives her a perpetually gentle, open expression that makes her approachable. Her ears are semi floppy, never quite committing to standing and it adds to her tender, girlish qualities.
Scarlett wears a warm Saint Bernard leaning palette of creamy ivory and rich browns, her fur broken up into soft natural patches that look almost painted across her body with a dark mask that settles around her eyes and part of her face. It frames her expression and gives her a striking contrast against the lighter tones. The markings trail along her back and sides in uneven dapples which blends into a soft mottled pattern that feels both rustic and gentle. Her legs and underside remain lighter, grounding her in that pale warmth, while touches of deeper brown scatter along her shoulders and flanks.
Her tail curls naturally, thick and expressive and usually resting in a soft arc over her back. It’s full with long feathers and often moves with her moods. Her orange eyes are bright and expressive, standing out vividly against the softness of her face and the darker mask that frames them.

personality
Scarlett is above all a profoundly gentle soul, the sort of girl who seems born with softness stitched into every fiber. She is girlish in the truest sense, not shallow or fragile, but sweet hearted, demure and full of a quiet grace. There is something almost princess-like in the way she carries herself, and the way she tries to be kind even when it would be easier not to. She wants things to be fair, peaceful and good, and believes that tenderness is not weakness and that dignity matters even in the smallest things.
From very early on she is nurturing, drawn toward comforting others, checking on them and trying to make things better. Scarlett is the girl who would press close to a sibling when they are upset, bring something she thinks might cheer someone up, or try to smooth over a quarrel before it becomes something uglier. She does not like conflict and even more than that, she seems almost spiritually unsuited for cruelty. And violence does not come naturally to her, quite the opposite in fact, in a way that is deeper and stranger than fear. She simply does not seem made for it. There is a firm and immovable refusal in her nature, as though some part of her soul rejects brutality entirely. It does not mean that she is weak willed, in fact Scarlett is resilient. Enduring by remaining soft, bending where others might snap. She absorbs pain, disappointment and unkindness without letting it spoil her nature. She remains dedicated, earnest and sincere in all that she does. And when she loves, she loves honestly, when she promises she means it and when she forgives she does so completely.
Likewise, Scarlett is hard to anger and even harder to keep angry, she may be hurt but true fury is foreign to her. Resentment doesn’t live within her the way it might in others and she is ultimately forgiving perhaps even to a fault. Willing to see the good in those around her long after others would have given up. And she is vulnerable to be taken advantage of or taken for granted if she is not careful.
