Before Mythris, Kaloula had been a man who had always dreamed of serving in the armed forces but his lit fuse for a temper and his difficulty cooperating with others soon led him to being dishonorably discharged after a brutal fight with a fellow soldier. He repurposed his expertise when he began working as a mercenary for hire; whatever it took to not return to the home he spent his youth trying to escape.
Kaloula excelled in this line of work. No law. No obedience. No expectation but to finish the job.
