ABOUT
Halvor is the sort of wolf whose presence settles a room before he ever speaks. Quiet, grounded, and unwaveringly dependable, he carries himself with the calm confidence of someone who has weathered countless storms. He listens more than he talks, choosing his words carefully and letting his actions speak where promises cannot. Though his broad frame and stern expression can seem intimidating, those who know him find a patient protector whose strength is guided by wisdom rather than pride. Beneath his stoic exterior lies a deeply compassionate soul, one who bears responsibility without complaint and quietly shoulders burdens so others don't have to.

HISTORY
I. PAST LIFE
Some souls carry echoes of another life... Halvor's is one of them.
Long before he walked the lands of Vivarium, he was born a human into a noble house in the far north, eventually inheriting the mantle of jarl over a rugged kingdom of fjords, forests, and unforgiving winters. He became the sort of ruler songs were written about. Not because he sought glory, but because he earned the unwavering trust of his people. Fair, dependable, and steadfast, he led from the front, shouldering burdens without complaint and never asking another to do what he would not.
His people never doubted him, aside from his own family... Not because they questioned his love, but because they rarely had the chance to feel it.
Halvor believed that every sacrifice made in the name of duty was a worthy one. Every missed meal, every postponed promise, every quiet "tomorrow" felt justified if it meant protecting those who depended on him. There was always another dispute to settle, another harsh winter to prepare for, another family in need... Eventually he convinced himself there would always be time later. But there wasn't.
Years slipped quietly through his fingers, his children grew into adults while he was occupied elsewhere, his wife stopped asking him to stay home, his family gatherings carried on without expecting his presence... They did not resent him, nor did they hate him, they simply stopped waiting.
By the time he recognized the distance he had allowed to grow between them, it had become far too long to bridge. Though history remembered him as a noble and honorable lord, he knew, in the solitude of old age, that he had failed the people he loved most...
When his final days came, his hall filled with warriors, villagers, and generations of people whose lives he had touched, they honored the man who had devoted his life to protecting them, and yet, the faces he longed for most were absent. Not from bitterness, but because life had carried them away long before he realized what he had been losing...
That regret became the final lesson of a life otherwise well lived. II. REINCARNATION
Now, in Vivarium, Halvor carries only fragments of that existence.. He does not remember names or places, only an instinctive pull toward responsibility and an inexplicable ache whenever duty threatens to eclipse the people around him.
He continues a protector by nature. He is still calm, steadfast, and unwavering in the face of hardship, he still finds purpose in serving others, but unlike the man he once was, Halvor is determined to build a life where duty is not the only thing that defines him. He wants to know his friends before they become strangers, he wants to build a family before it's too late, and wants to sit beside those he cares for, not because there is work to be done, but because they matter to him.
Perhaps he cannot undo the mistakes of another lifetime, but he can choose not to repeat them. III. CURRENT DAY
