To her, and many, it would seem sincere. Yet she couldn't shake a feeling from the pit of her stomach and from the tone in his voice that they perhaps did not entirely want her kind here. She had heard the stories, of how brutish the other bands could be in contrast to the hunters of the valley.
Yet despite her fear and unknowing, Citlali was determined to prove herself useful and to find a place of her own within these lands. Her gaze would momentarily flick toward Monaghan as she were questioning what his next steps forward might be.

A weariness to her gaze, not unnoticed by the Lanzadoii as he watched her with sharpness to his pale, yellow eyes. She was the size of his own self and there were many women within the band even slighter than this among the Lanzadoii who had been fully capable of bringing down their prey. It was her upbringing alone which led him to question, yet her words were ones met with this challenge.
Stay then and be it your first test,He spoke with a flick of his paw outward as he lifted his limb to his chest.
Endure.Among the outskirts, off Lanzadoii scraps as they lived as loners just out of reach to becoming one to something of greatness. Patience would be their first test.
figured I would swing this in a different direction since it's been awhile and I know you have a new thread up to meet more Lanzadoii. Going to get to that one too now that Meleys can meet them.
