RE: After all of that - Adlartok - 7/9/2025 Artok offered a short, gruff laugh. Can't we all Artok tilted his head and looked at his paws. Fireweed. His mind blank. Had he tried that before? Someone had helped him he thought perhaps. White fur, red eyes. But just as quick as he thought of them and a warm feeling lit up his chest. They were gone. So instead he nodded. I'll try it. But honestly there's not much inflammation. The stuff inside is just ruined. That's what happens when a fully grown wolf attacks a child though. Artok wasn't one usually for company. But he had signed up for this hadn't he. Had sought out someone, or something bigger than himself. So it was only fair if he gave some of himself in return. Even if he hated to do it . You know what. That sounds great. I'm always looking for new hunting spots. Lead the way. RE: After all of that - Creole - 7/10/2025 ![]() Creole nodded, his mind making images of an adult wolf attacking a child... He shuddered at the thought, his eyes closing for a moment as he envisioned this scene. I'm sorry that that happened to you...Creole murmured softly to the man, dipping his head with sympathy, not feeling bad for the man but more for his situation, he wasn't trying to pity the man just extend a friendly shoulder... That's what Creole had become... Creole smiled when the man agreed to the company and The Dragon King nodded before turning to head towards the forests at the bottom of the mountain. We can find some fireweed along the way... It grows here in the mountains... There's a small clearing down here, one of my favorite spots...He chuckled, if he could blush he might have... RE: After all of that - Adlartok - 7/11/2025 Artok gave a shrug of well muscled shoulder. There was a time I hated it. Was bitter about it. But it happened Artok chuckled at the boyish look on the man's face. He was cute. But he didn't voice it. Most wolves weren't like him. Trade a night or two of fun. why is it one of your ravorites He'd ask a question instead. RE: After all of that - Creole - 7/15/2025 ![]() It's my favorite spot because it's quiet...The male explained with a gentle smile, his eyes flitting over to the male beside him as they went about on their journey. --time travel lol--
Once they reached Creole's spot it was a wide expanse of land the housed a pond in the middle. All around there were flower's of all shapes and colors blooming. Fireweed amongst them Cree noted as he padded his way into the blooming field. He trotted over to the pond to take a few laps of the cool water, the mountain chill running down his throat and pooling in his stomach. Creole smiled before he turned his head over his shoulder. Isn't it beautiful here...?The man asked Adlartok with a high wave of his plume at the other male. RE: After all of that - Adlartok - 7/24/2025 Artok liked quiet places. He wasn't a social wolf. To prickly for it honestly. But he did try and at least show small effort at first. Artok froze at the sight of colors. He bent his nose to smell a flower or two. Take in the rest of the scents. Gaze curved along the expanse of water and back to Creole. Very pretty. Bet the fishing is good too. He bent his own head towards the water taking a lap. But keeping his ruined shoulder away. He still was wary after all RE: After all of that - Creole - 7/30/2025 ![]() Creole chuckled, his eyes crinkling at the edges as he smiled, I wouldn't know... I'm no fisherman...The beast nodded before sighing. Do you have any questions about the lands I can answer on the way? Any ease I can put to your mind...?The ivory Dragon spoke through onyx lips, his eyes opening a bit to peer at the other. He didn't want this man to feel uncomfortable in these lands, it was actually almost silly that he ran into Creole, Creole was really not a very social wolf. Even though he might have seemed it he was not a social creature... RE: After all of that - Adlartok - 8/5/2025 You're fine. I been busy working a little extra until next week so I'm slow replying right now.
Artok listened closely. A tilt of an ear. Fishing is a solitary, quiet. And it feels your belly. I tend to fish a little more. Because I can actually be a little more mobile in water. Artok shook his head. I'm a learn by my own mistakes kinda guy. But I appreciate you showing me your favorite place.] RE: After all of that - Creole - 8/6/2025
Skill: Herbalist ![]() Nodding to Adlartok Creole sat down for a moment, curling his tail around his haunches. It was no trouble, I enjoy sharing these places, it brings us all together more...Cree explained before looking around to see if he could find any fireweed. He saw a gathering of the plant and sighed a little, only because he had just sat down, and stood with a chuckle to himself before walking over to the bunch of fireweed and grabbing a few stalks carefully in his mouth. Tugging at them carefully he plucked them from the earth at the stalk and walked back to Adlartok. Placing the flowers at his feet he took a few steps back and sat back down. There... Those are some of the fireweed I spoke of earlier... They should help hopefully, if not You can visit our healer, Eterna... I'm sure she would be able to help if needed...He dipped his head a bit with a smile, thumping the tip of his tail against the ground. RE: After all of that - Adlartok - 8/8/2025 Artok listened. He wanted to snort and call lies. But perhaps that was his jaded bitterness taking root. So he chose silence. He watched curious as the other male stood again to only realize what he was doing. A small smile. No one has been able to help yet. But I appreciate it. I'll visit her. a tilt of his head a look around. I'll make sure I get you something for your help. RE: After all of that - Creole - 8/11/2025
Skill: ![]() A smile graced his lips once more as he dipped his head. Your thanks are enough, I do not do this for reward, I only do this for the reward it reaps initially...He told the man with crinkles in the corners of his eyes. If you wish, I can leave you to explore a bit more on your own? Give you some peace within the peace...?Creole asked, only wanting to provide comfort for the newer man of their ranks. |
