RE: Ribbons - Yaalk'ali - 9/28/2025

aww, thank you!

Her laughter is as soft as her windswept furs. She works her way around to his front, examining still. A little grin begins to worm it's way onto his smug mug, wondering if she was taking interest to what she was seeing. A rolling of his shoulders as she called him 'cheeky' with a sort of look of "ah, you caught me" expression. Yaalk'ali was ever the charmer outwardly, even with whatever dark and cruel intentions he may hold within.

And so you have found one. Her search had ended then. I'm Yaalk'ali. He answers with a smooth grumble in his throat. And your name, Soft Paws?

RE: Ribbons - Ïkikta - 9/30/2025

Soft paws!

Such an odd title is met with a charmed grin, a harsh wag of her tail before she forced her hind into the snowfall. Less she start prancing around like a caribou, and less she forget her manners completely. Sat astride him, she gave the smallest bow her of head—perhaps to hide the smile that brings an ache to her cheeks.

It is good to cross paths, Yaalk'ali. I am Ïkikta. After a misty breath, she found herself unable to refrain from asking; What band do you hunt with?

And naturally, if his answer was favorable, she'd be inclined to ask do you march with them?

A wide grin is given from the young woman, whose tail also waved wildly until she forces herself into a sit to calm herself. Her excitement showed her youth, though Yaalk'ali quite enjoyed the happy, carefree, nieve and ignorance of a young woman. Easier for him to get his forelegs around.

I run now with Saatsine, band of my half brother and my sister under him. Not his natal pack, yet kinship within all the same. Would you stick around for a time, Ïkikta? See if Saatsine could be whom you run with too.

RE: Ribbons - Ïkikta - 10/14/2025

Saatsine. It brings a thrum to her heart, a thrill to warm her veins. After months of her dispersal and her search, she's finally been brought to the lands of her people. Her clan's well wishes guided her here with the potential of a new life.

She was determined then to join their long march. To call Saatsine home and to rejoice with her new peoples. The coast wouldn't be forgotten but a past cherished, while she rebuilt herself anew.

Yes, I would like to stay. To hunt, to march. Perhaps now with a charming bachelor, though that remains to be seen! He hunted well and he charmed, but would that be enough for a woman easily swept away by wanderlust?

Turning her attentions to the kill left to melt the snow, she pondered; Will you harvest from your kill, Yaalk'ali?

RE: Ribbons - Yaalk'ali - 10/23/2025

Excellent. Yaalk'ali could not hold back the grin on his mug as he looks to her now. He would be seeing her movements more often now as they ran along side the caribou. Yet that also meant he would have to still his loins with this one or be more careful when his eyes roamed elsewhere should something betweem come about. Alas, they had only just met! Ahhh, his hunger. Speaking of hunger...

Ah, yes, but of course! Would you care to feast with me as celebration before the skinning? It is a good day, after all. Take the dew claws this hunt. A token of our first hunt together as Saatsine.
