RE: Commit a felony with me - Wardruna - 10/7/2025

skill: seer

There, in the distance, she would see the High Priestess of Elysium in the distance speaking with another. She thought to head her direction, but it was the arrival of another, her nephew, which called stronger to Wardruna now.

A step into his direction, then another, and as she opened her mouth to speak, a fog moves on swiftness around her. Clouding, blinding her vision until there was only darkness. Nothingness. Wardruna cries out. Cried again. Until hair stood on end and bones rattled with fear. This darkness, this nothingess, it was not an existence she ever wanted to know. Yet know now she did.

And then, as quick as it began, it ended. It left her on her stomach, panting in anxiety. Death was something a viking had learned to never fear. Death only meant joining the realm of the gods. It only meant a longer existence among them and those akin to her, spending their days in feast and fight for the preparation of great battle to come. And even then, not the end. The remaining gods to rise in place of those foretold to die in Ragnorok.

This - this which she had been shown, was a fate far worse then death.

She couldn't believe it. Couldn't! Her gods, her father and mother would never leave her to abandonment so. And still, a cold quiver crept it's way through her.

In this first round, Wardruna is left but to pant and panic.

RE: Commit a felony with me - Vitus - 10/7/2025

Soothsayer

He sees, he hears, he understands.

The sun disappears, the hopelessness drags at him, but when hasn't it dragged at him? When hasn't it wrapped around his heart? It was almost a weightless feeling, as he let it pass over him, through him, as he hears his aunt's scream before his vision is given back.

Vitus takes a moment to blink, staring at the petals that drifted from nowhere in the sky.

The sun will disappear, but it will return, it will always return.

He moves then, to Wardruna's side. Breathe frænku his voice was so much deeper since they last spoke, at the start of this plague, more sure of himself. The seer pressed his head to her shoulder, an attempt to snap her back to her senses. It's just a vision

pushing forward with this since it's been a bit...

skill: seer

Vitus moves swiftly upon long, lean legs. Coming to the side of his aunt whose own limbs are splayed, head between them as she pants and tries to regain her composure. Wardruna's head shakes, as though to try and snap out of it as her kin aims to sooth.

A vision, yes, though not just. It is a vision of what is to come - eternal darkness. No Valhalla, no life among the gods, no sight of our blood again.

She quivers, falling into a sit as she looks up to Vitus with knitted brows and sorrow deep in her gaze. Could it be so? Who better to ask then the Seer?

Around her was a clammering. Another large wolf in the distance panting with panic. Another meant to soothe. Pheonix orange and blue gaze lifted, though there was none of her own here to sooth her. None which might understand the interpretation her gods. Although, it seemed the message was rather clear enough.

The pheonix struggles, but she does once more rise again. She looks around with a hopefulness of seeing Setemhotep on the horizon, but she does not. هحاول أكون أحسن. She repeats, a promise to her gods.

Soothsayer

Vitus's bright blue eyes lock onto Wardruna's as she spoke of the same thing he had seen, comfort may not be something he is used to giving or recieving, but perhaps his surety in unraveling his dreams and visions would be enough. That is the point of Valhalla, of Ragnarok, all things must end, but it will begin again, and again. The world rots, the rot feeds new life. But we can delay our end...for now

He looked away then, at the petals, what had they to do with this? These petals though...
