RE: Howff Party - Margaret - 3/16/2026

skill: escort 2/5

the party raged on. maggie made a game out of trying to put loud voices to sodden faces, but she did not fall among them with drink, not yet. a grin to the bard, a circuit of the room. a commotion! and glowing -- what? interested, she did saunter in that direction, making no move to keep appreciative touches away from her flanks -- that was free at least.
other languages mingling, too, and kids present, well -- tucked away.
the doxy was on her own hunt, and when she found her quarry, chin lifted in pleasure. a spotted man with dashing flares of black and bright white, he simply towered. scars surrounded his eyes, which held a particularly striking color of gilt purple, and even the silvered line in one of them was not unattractive.
maggie grinned, stepping close enough to feel the warmth of his body -- and the heat beyond. her eyes teased. 'elp you wiv that, sir? purled the harlot, helping to block any the view of any passersby while she slid a bold pale paw over the skin of his leg.
he was a guest, a partier. what he had brought for gambling? nearby, there were more exclamations, but maggie knew better than to take her eyes off a situation like the one sitting in front of her.

RE: Howff Party - Will-o'-Wisp - 3/18/2026

She couldn't bloody reach it. Wisp strained against the wooden board until it pinched painfully against her cheekbones, unable to get the leverage she needed to push up on the chunk of wood and reach at the same time. She shut her eyes tight to try and plunge deeper, but she couldn't manage! A frustrated growl left her, and moments later, pawsteps vibrated through the floor around her -- she could hear them, and had she not been so intent on her task, she might've laughed at the absurdity of it.

Lyra's voice scolded from above, and Wisp opened one ringed eye to peer up like a kid with their hand caught in the cookie jar. Perhaps... she should have waited at least, yeah. But she was here now, wasn't she? And besides, people were flocking about, also catching a glimpse.
Wisp wasn't about to let it go now that she was inches away. Several others approached, asking after the rune, but it wasn't until a flash of red that she found assistance instead of confused stares. Mal! He grabbed the wood and pried it back, mumbling encouragement.

Wisp didn't need telling twice. She lunged into the opening the rest of the way, all too aware that if the innkeeper slipped he could break her bloody neck on accident, and closed her jaws around the warm, glowing stone. Just as quickly, she retreated, scrabbling backwards gracelessly with a triumphant note rumbled around its blue rigidity. There, she held it for all to see, tail wagging and looking all too proud of herself and shooting an especially bright flash of her smile Mal's direction by way of thanks.

.........Now what?

After a moment, she trotted back off towards the steps, ready to hoard her prize.
