The world of Mythris is full of lands of various types. You can find a territory best suited to your group and claim that space, so long as it has not already been claimed by a fully formed Group.

You can check here to see if the territory you're interested in claiming (or just exploring!) currently has anyone setting up shop! Just because a territory is marked with someone interested it does not mean the territory is reserved until the Group/Pack is fully formed.
