Time-Honored Traditions - Vidarr - 2/3/2026

skill: Orator 1/5 for Nóttin

Vidarr had been touched to his core by the request that Dalmatia had made, and he wasn't even sure if his paws had touched the ground since he had been floating happily since! It had made absolute sense that he needed to start now in preparing for the wedding. Vidarr wasn't sure when the time would be right for it, with the world itself seeming to attempt to crush them beneath the weight of the snow and ice.

The world was supposed to begin to melt around this time of year, and even for a man born in an old keep that had been half held together by the ice itself, it was cold. And still there was warmth to be had and to be made, and Vidarr approached the den of the young Pillar and his soon to be Bride, but he'd been careful to wait until he knew Dalmatia would be away from home When he was close he chuffed before laying his prize down. He didn't want to come at a bad time, but he did want to check in before he made things awkward.

RE: Time-Honored Traditions - Nóttin - 2/7/2026

The wedding had been on his mind non stop, among other things. The happiness that Dalmatia had brought him was priceless, giving him a sense of belonging and fulfillment that he had never experienced before. Even with the state of the world going cold and almost dark, Nóttin still couldn't find it in himself to be a dark cloud looming in the distance.

What did cloud his judgment and happiness however, was the state of his friendship with Freya. After seeing her kids with her, and what happened with her last son, the young Pillar began to question every single decision he had made up till that point. It had gotten him in a state of disarray that had tried hard to put his happiness on hold.

So when the scent of Vidarr came to his nose, a sense of relief came over him. Maybe his elder would know the proper course of action, the way to fix all that he had done. Maybe even take a certain special request. Vidarr, it is so good to see you.

Nóttin greeted as he came out of the den, trying to muster a smile across his face despite how he was feeling. Maybe he could be convincing enough to get by this conversation. If not, the cat was out of the bag and a problem needed to be addressed.
