Embrasé - Zacharie - 3/13/2026

AW rune search! Vague about Zeek's injuries from Abbadon for now lol

Skill - Ranger 1/5

Dreams happened sometimes. A lot, really. But it was less usual for the big ones, where the whole den and everyone else had the same dream. He'd been too young to remember, or even care, really, about the finer points of the last few.

Now Zeek was older. And he knew the world wasn't always kind. Unsafety felt real. Especially when you could stand outside the cave that had kept you, and see fractures of blue spread across the earth in all directions. Was this the work of the Big Bad Wolf? Or something worse?

Zeek decided it didn't matter. He was going to be the biggest, baddest wolf, no matter what anyone else said or did. And it would start with finding glowing rocks and saving the whole pack. Nobody would ever cross him, then.

Je vais trouver des Runes. He announced, looking over his shoulder at whoever else was in earshot. Even if they weren't, he'd promise it to the sky. And then regardless of anyone else's opinion on the matter, loped off as ungingerly as he could into Jakten's wilds to hunt.

RE: Embrasé - Magnolia - 3/13/2026

Growing age meant growing freedom meant growing confidence. Something Magnolia didn't really need, had in spades already, and was keen to hoard like a dragon on a bed of treasure -- but, to be fair, as much could be said about anything the young girl took a shine to. She was awake, too, pacing the edge of the den, not ready to take to the nest/cuddle-puddle yet and filled with energy. She, too, had been thinking about the dream.
Thinking that perhaps, she should do something. How would Mum and Dad be proud of her? How would Jakten know she was one of them?

Then, like he felt the urge to do something too, Zeek announced he was going out searching for runes.

Magnolia loped right after him with a growl of agreement, tail curling high with delight and wagging over her hips.

RE: Embrasé - Ezra - 3/17/2026

skill: Guardian

Ezra had promised Jaxxon he would keep an eye on his hoard of kids (the ones he was aware of at least) the best he could. At least until they were more than capable enough to defend their own. So when the world started shaking and great ruptures torn open the earth leaving chasms of glowing blue, Ezra had a mind to stay a bit closer guard.

Typically, Ezra hadnt much the same touch with children as his aunt Wardruna and pup-sitting had never before been his thing. He would stay at a good distance. Making sure they were okay and once their mothers or sisters came back around, he would be on his way. But now the moment one of them shouted out (and with his native tongue, no less) that he was going rune hunting, Ezra immediately perked up from the brush where he had been resting, eyes closed, merely listening to their chatter from in the den.

Eigi án mín ert þú eigi. Came a Grumble from his lips as he hauled himself up off the ground and went trotting after the two run-aways.

Rune Discovery : 「 Success!」

The world that fractures and aches has bled over again to the surface. The fissures that open look like raw ragged wounds. It mirrors the pain deep at the core, where the wounds have festered and where they have rotted. It is no shock that the world will reflect this. The shock may come to those that live there, of course, that they have to witness such a thing in their lifespan. What a brutal game Mythris plays. Two young wolves start the trek to search for runes, they are confident, if not a bit foolhearty. Thankfully they are not alone as they seek out the runes.

The watchful eyes of the guardian are not the only ones on the two young wolves. Confidence is helpful, but that cannot be the only thing if they hope to save the world. All around Mistveil, save to the mountains in the north, the world has split. The cracks can be seen from above, raw and seeping with an energy that cannot be controlled. It does not take too long until there is an errant, startled cry. Rocks slide and tumble down the edge of the mountain, taking with them something else - a blip of a glow can be seen. Drire! drire, sepafire ut sepal lok! The rune was caught in the debris, tumbling towards the lake guarded by the mountain itself.

The voice echoes in each of your heads, desperate and keening. Sepa shin! You must.
