[PRP] what i used to know - Draugur - 3/18/2026
Since his time of injury, he’d kept mostly to himself, devolving further into an aching mind and systematically releasing reality. The world around him crumbled, and so did his mind. His scars were just a reminder of the beast that did this to him — and the beast within himself.
Being with Abaddon was cathartic, somehow. Feral energy rolled off of his brother’s skin, empowering Draugur to act in the same way. It was easy to be around Abaddon, for there were no wrong moves. No wrong answers.
There was chaos and blood and snarls and growls — but there was brotherhood, too. It was unspoken, most times, but Draugur could feel it there. Abaddon had saved his life, after all …
So the two walked, trailing through the darkness of the wakes in a powerful silence. The wind sliced, cutting through Draugur’s thick fur, his silver-laced eyes trailing along the environment in search of anything abnormal.
The pull of the red flame drew him unconsciously nearer … a light amidst all of the horrible, monochrome darkness. The color spoke to him … red as his eyes. Red as blood.
He’d look briefly to Abaddon.

Rune Discovery : 「 Success 」
Your roving eye misses nothing. Intrigued by the red flame as you are, you see something glimmer in your peripheral - and there, embedded in the face of a large boulder to your right, is the broken outline of a Rune that seems to have been roughly shoved into place. How did it end up there?
No matter.
If you're dextrous enough, you could probably pry it free with your claws and a little bit of help from a friend.

He'd spent most of his time with Draug, save for that days long trip to the pink flame and his little escapade with Toska, that just confused him. Being with Draug wasn't confusing, it was homely and cold, just how he liked it. This night the pair of giants stalked through the night, wind slicing through fur and biting optics squinted. He'd wandered away from the pink flame for a while only to come back and have the brotherly bonded duo find it red ... He liked it better red anyways...
He began to stalk to the other side of it when something caught his eyes, glinting in a nearby boulder, and Abaddon smirked, his greed spiking a little as he slithered closer to Draugur. You could take it ya know... He smirked, his teeth glinting in the light of the dancing flames as he rumbled, eyes reflecting the coloration of the embers as he shifted them to the kin now near him.
I have one... Don't you need one too...? He questioned, tempting the pale wraith as The Devil whispered in his ear sweet temptations of the glittering stone.

Skill:
Before them, the red flame danced ... the warm blaze licking at the cold darkness that blanketed them. He could feel it, the way the fire teased at his skin, drawing him nearer to the otherworldly light. And it did not take long before the entire world was bathed in crimson luster, the warm heat a contrast to the ice that lingered behind his silver-laced gaze.
But there was something else, too. A flicker of cold — a dance of blue masquerading behind the tints of red.
Draugur's eyes turned, trained to the anomaly. And it would seem that Abaddon had noticed it too, those slinking vocals dripping from dark lips. And Draugur recalled their conversation. They had dedicated to taking things, after all. There was no more sitting and waiting. No more patience.
Just take.
Take it, Draugur echoed, eyes flashing with the tingling of temptation. Yes. The singular word echoed with a dark finality, a low and permeating rumble. And Draugur would drift, large body phasing through the ichor-hued light as he neared the rune. His rune. He knew not what it did, though it seemed an important key in the coming days of darkness.
And if he could do anything to banish that fucking darkness, the darkness that had given him the scars along his back ... he would do it . And the teen's tail would coil, flipping over his back as he picked up the glowing rock between his jaws — and he swore he could hear it humming.
That slimy bastard deserves everything that's coming to him. The threat lingered almost lazily on his lips as he hissed between bites of relic. He was referring to, of course, Dre Klage . The one that had tried to engulf him. The one who had tried to cage him. Had tried to kill him.
