The dreams had been less of a bother, more of a curiosity to the dark woman. She had other things on her mind, and she was half curious what Ezra was up to as she slipped from the den, Thoth following along in her search. She admitted had no idea what these run things were exactly, but she was going to try and find one, hey, if nothing else, she enjoyed an interesting collection. For now, she navigated just down the mountain outside of Jakten's borders by a river. Pausing, she dipped her head as Thoth landed close by, testing the water with his beak.
Pausing for a moment, she nodded to the golden eagle, who took flight once more. Eyes pealed for interesting sights that may be this mysterious boon. Not only could Thoth help keep an eye on her, but it also gave her some peace so she could keep an eye out for other wolves close to the borders. The woman swore she thought she saw a splash of pale gold and white, but she shook her head. She needed better sleep; perhaps she would see if she could tempt the dark male to sleep by her den, if Thoth wasn't irritated by the presence of another. It was an odd, comfortable bond she had with the young eagle. — artwork: Ulfeid3 ·
Common Speech Coptic Speech RE: Until I wake I dine on old encounters - Fate - 3/18/2026 Aimlessly wandering has become a comfort to Fate, once again. It reminds her of the time before Fivel, before their children. She'd left her home kingdom behind only to wander into a new place - similar to here. Only she'd died to get to this place. The chill on the wind is a comfort to her, as well. Fate has always fared a bit better in cooler places, thankful for her fluffy coat. She breathes in the crisp air as she meanders through the new territory, not noticing the stranger nor her companion. RE: Until I wake I dine on old encounters - narrator - 3/18/2026 Rune Discovery : 「 Failure 」 You prowl through the dark morning as a sharp wind from the north ruffles your fur, carrying snow and ice with it. It's bitterly cold out, but your curiosity spurs you on to search - for curiosity's sake alone, if nothing else. Despite the growing cracks and fissures in the earth around you, the end of the world doesn't seem to hold your attention. Maybe you've simply seen enough that a little apocalyptic action isn't all that concerning. Regardless, the mythic stones seem to share your apathy, and none rouse to life in your presence. You carry on with your search, paws crunching against the heavy snow. RE: Until I wake I dine on old encounters - Amunet1 - 3/19/2026 ![]()
Darkness was no stranger to her, but she imagined Thoth didn't fare the best in it. The scent on the wind carried the trace of another, and yet now all she wanted was the comfort of her den, and its warmth. She permitted a subtle bark to the eagle as if instructing him to head home. If he listened or not, well, that was up to him. She still had fair scraps scattered, she could keep him feed but her mood to hunt was soured by the ice starting to cling to her pelt. She could imagine that it would cling to his wings eventually, and if nothing else, she became protective of the little creature.
Her paws pressed on a little way, mostly out of curiosity and partly out of aimlessness. The subtle clawing at her mind forced her to flash her fangs before slipping them back behind dark curtains. Still, ever determined and ever persistent, she tracked the scent laid before her. She was only a few yards away, she assumed, but with this visibility, it was harder to determine. She offered a soft rumble in the direction she presumed the creature was in. It was light and non-hostile, simply a wordless announcement of her presence. None the wiser that she had evaded any potential danger from the silly runes she had initially sought out to find. — artwork: Ulfeid3 ·
Common Speech Coptic Speech RE: Until I wake I dine on old encounters - Fate - 3/28/2026 Fate hears the sound and turns around to spot a stranger nearby. It's not a wolf she's seen before. She takes the salty scent and implants it in her memory, just another wolf who needs to live their life in this strange world. She wonders how many of them had been abducted, or if this one had died just like Fate herself. Fate decides to approach the stranger. The creature approaches the dark woman, and Amunet simply watches for a moment.
Are you lost? Her tones are soft and curious, and yet this interaction seemed unentertaining so far, but rarely did excitement flash into existence. From what she could make out, the other was smaller than she, definitely lighter. She was no doubt swifter, and admittedly, on first impression, she didn't give off fighter. Even so, the dark wolf was more than aware that looks could be exceptionally deceiving. She exhaled softly, condensation rising in the air. She almost wondered if it was worth the excursion, given how cold it was. Despite her thicker coat, the chill was something she still found much diffrent for her previous homes of the grass sea, and sea itself. — artwork: Ulfeid3 ·
