More, Give Me More - Kolbrún - 3/19/2026

A white backdrop of snow splattered in layers of dark and bright red was the last thing she remembered seeing. A sharp pain in her gut, and then another as the metallic taste of blood flooded her black stained teeth. Blue face paint that she had received and a sign of leadership was smeared across her feature. The fresh snow made a crunch as she dropped to her knees, and blood gurgles out of her mouth as she taunts,

ᚦᚢ ᛖᚱᛏ ᛊᚢᚨ ᚺᚱᛇᛞᚱ ᚢᛁᚦ ᛗᛁᚲ, ᚠᚨᚦᛁᚱ

The voice that responded was a low grumble that gave her nothing less than honesty. This was the least she deserved,

ᛃᚨ, ᚦᚢ ᛖᚱᛏ ᛟᚱᚦᛁᚾ ᚢᚱ, ᛞᛟᛏᛁᚱ

Kolbrùn couldn't help but laugh. It was nothing more than a strangled thing caught in her throat, but it was mocking. Her last four words were etched into her mind as she awoke to the feeling of freezing water rushing over her in choppy waves threatening to drag her out further but not quite strong enough.

ᚦᚨᛏ ᛗᚢᚾ ᛖᛁᚷᛁ ᛚᛖᛏᛃᚨ ᛗᛁᚲ

There was no more red stained snow nor was there any pain of arrows shot through her back. It was just a black beach scattered with glaciers. It looked almost like home, but different. Just like she was different. The fur coat she wore now was a part of her, and just as white as the fresh fallen snow she had perished in yet still remained the scar on her shoulder from a bear hunt on her youth. Kolbrùn's large form emerged from the waves like she was the herald of the storm brewing behind her. She took a deep breath of the salty sea air. The ocean was a comfort. The place where her people were buried, and the beast she had spent her whole life trying to tame as she lead raiding parties along the coastlines. She had always thought she would die there.

Muscular shoulders rolled as Kolbrùn adjusted to her new canine form, and felt no less powerful as she did before. The gods had just given her somewhere else to conquer for they were too afraid death would only bring her closer to them. Cowards. She didn't delay in starting to investigate the area and find herself somewhere to shelter from the storm coming along with the setting sun.

A keg of mead would be nice as well, but she wasn't hopeful.

RE: More, Give Me More - Journey - 3/20/2026

skill: vagabond

Dark clouds did not give way but it was not its usual haze. Another storm was coming. They became more and more frequent at their world plunged into ice age. Journey walked along the stretch of black sanded beach she remembered walking briefly once before, she thinks. It is littered with large chunks of ice. Once reflecting the light of sun, now only reflection of the tide danced within them.

The Journeyman traveled, though even in this bleak time, had not been successful in finding any others to call to home.

For now, these ideas tossed aside as she found a sheltering spot, a little cave along the black beach where she might watch the storm rage over the dark ocean. As it were, what captures her attention first was the sight of another down the coastline, trekking into her direction. A large beast, colored predominately in pale shade befitting the terrian of their choosing. The valkyrie watches with curious emerald eyes, offering a small 'woof' only when they had drew nearer and thunder humbled the earth.

RE: More, Give Me More - Kesho - 3/25/2026

The pitter-patter of messy painted paws thumping across the dark sandy shores were barely audible as a pale faintly spotted figure traversed the ice field mess known as Diamond Beach. Having made several wrong turns into unforgiving territory, Kesho was now forced to battle the elements of nature in order to stumble upon a way home. Lucky the hyena was able to grow a coat thick enough to assist him in resisting for now, but it was only a temporary solution. For it hardly offered much protection like the storm that was sure to come.

The young beast had been on his own for some time now. Not all others were as kind as his first encounter, nor were any the same species as he. The wolves known as wolves defended their homes and themselves with intend ferocity. In the end he’d always leave or run away. This time wouldn’t be any different from before.

As he traveled further down the beach, two strange wolves found their way into his line of sight, one was even in the water. A groaning whine of unease slipped through his lips as he slowly began to back away. Clearly not comfortable enough to push his luck with beckoning himself any closer than he needed to be.
