It was really early...like really-really early, but her blue eyes peered open when the temperature shifted slightly. She lifted her head subtly, watching Mama as she stalked out of the den. Peering around her, she noticed her siblings sleeping soundly, and Discordia grew excited. We get Mama to ourselves today. She had to mind her excitement as she stepped carefully around her siblings. The pie-bal girl sank close to the ground. She wasn't great at pouncing, but she was getting better. Much to her dismay as she exited the den at a crawl, Mother had gotten much further away.
A soft mental pinch caused her to growl softly as she sprinted, as much sprinting as her legs chose to allow, trying to catch up to Mama. She hadn't had a chance at surprising the woman, but she would make the best of it. As she got just in range, Discordia leaped up, snapping at Mama's tail before landing with a soft thud, attempting to weave in between Mama's legs. Mama, we come too! she demanded, her ears slightly folded and tail lowered slightly. I mean, pwease. We come to? She didn't wanna anger Mama; it was her first real alone time, and she didn't want to be sent back home already.

Discorida smiled at her mom's laughter, and her tail waved slightly as she uttered the approval of her company. Bouncing forward on eager paw, she followed along her mother's side, trying her best to stay closer to her shoulder. Gratefully, her mother slowed down for her even if she was blissfully unaware of the action. The young girl was just thrilled to go explore something new. Despite the fact that she loved her siblings, she was just happy to have Mama all to herself for the time being. We get to see everything? The young girl questioned, not quite grasping how much time or energy that would take for her little legs.

Discorda looked at her mother with a slight tilt of her head. Mama was so tall and large. She was pretty and not different colors like she was. She lagged, falling to Nyra's flank before shaking her head and bounding forward, eager to reclaim her place at Nyra's shoulder. Will I be big too? Pretty like Mama? They asked innocently enough, but extremely seriously in only a way a child could be. I wanna be big too! the girl exclaimed with excitement. Maybe then she could help Mama patrol more.
