The moon on the mountains, The whisper through the trees - Raisa - 3/20/2026

Dated 3/23

Since returning home to Northfall, Raisa noticed some… changes. At first she blamed the fatigue she felt on the travel and all the times she or Bo decided to get frisky with one another, but it persisted even past a good night sleep and a full belly (as much as could be said now, with the terrible hold of winter driving everything to hunker down). It wasn't until yesterday morning when she exiled the previous nights meal into a nearby bush that it occurred to her their frequent coupling had left behind a gift. After freaking out just a little in private, she'd spoken to Bo. Now… it was Sera's turn.
Why did it seem so hard to tell her?

Carnifex was a loyal, adaptable beast. She trusted that adding a newcomer to their tight-knit circle wouldn't be any harder than accepting a new member into Seiiki had been, whether he was fucking Raisa or not, and she knew with all her heart the feline would guard her whelps even more carefully than he'd shadowed her all this time.
Sera… well, she had no reason to believe her sister would take unkindly to Bogart, and she thought her littermate would be tickled pink to be an Aunt, too. That didn't ease her anxiety over it, and it wasn't the only thing she wanted to speak about. Their last name bothered her, and while she'd decided on her own, she wanted to take up her choice with her sister and hope they could come to match again. That gave her more worries; Cirilla and Benkei had vanished last time she brought up thinking of a new name. What if she drove them away?
What if she drove Serafina away, too?
Was Andrei's absence her fault too?

She'd risen early, before Bo, and figured - fuck it. No time like the present to spill the beans, right? As soon as she could find her sister...
Fuck.
Raisa trailed along the mountainside until she found the fresh scent of her sibling and trotted after the trail, tail wagging. Sera, she called softly into the dim, frigid morning, hearing paw steps ahead through the snowfall. “Wait up!” Quickening her pace, she hurried as to not keep her striped sister waiting, lips quirking into a grin as she caught sight of the other.

"U menya yest' novosti."

Good news, finally.
