Lonesome Fire Fox - Gwendolyn - 3/27/2026

What happened while she was gone? Gwendolyn had been dumped here in Mythris for the second time, tumbling a little while ago from the sky and landing on her stomach. Muscles and bones were still sore from the crash, but she still tried to get to her feet. Worried eyes looked around at the dark world, a thick and heavy cloud cover all across the sky.

Winter had still kept its hold on the continent it seemed. What caused this sudden transformation? The red wolf began to move through the dead brush, what was once golden now nothing but dark brown beneath a blanket of white. Prey was scarce in the area, possibly everywhere. How were the packs of this land fairing? Another thing to worry about if she was to survive here. Gwen kept her march though, determined to find someone that could give her the answers she sought.

it is not everyday a norseman sees anything other than a bird fall from the sky. he catches only the end of it in his peripheral, a shape dropping down until it was swallowed by the white and the dead brush. cocking his head, sigvard follows their former position in the air to find the dent they were sure to have left behind.

he moved without hurry, pressing through crusted snow and dead brush alike until the trees thin just enough to show her, red against the pale ruin of the land, unsteady on her feet.

for fear of startling her, sigvard doesn't approach the she-wolf straight on. he angled to a slow circle, green eyes dragging over her in open assessment—no shame in it, he likes to think. only looking for breaks, injuries. finding little worth concern, the brute comes with feigned sheepishness around the corner. hm. a low sound, thoughtful. approving, even. you are not dead.

Gwendolyn had been recovering herself from the fall when she picked up his scent. But it was his sheer presence and size that made her almost startle. The red wolf turned to face him, watching him as he made his slow approach. A voice most rich entered her ears, making her frozen where she stood.

Not out of fear, but of something else entirely she was not sure of. Something to dwell on later when she had the time to process it. Miraculous, yes? She gave a playful smirk, tail attempting to wave a little bit in a friendly yet mischievous manner. Ever the girl to set the stage for a lively show.

If only the universe saw it fit to lay me down more gently. It wouldn't kill them to do so for a change. Gwen was tired of the constant back and forth, being tossed around from one world to the next. It was downright exhausting.

his gaze lingers. he is not subtle about it, and it moves over her like a hand testing heat, tracing the lines of her stance, the set of her limbs, the way she holds herself together.

she smiles, and it earns a flick at the corner of his mouth, quick and crooked. mir..aculous? he hums, unfamiliar, stepping closer now that she’s turned to meet him proper, arc closing into something more direct. his shoulder rolls as he stops within a comfortable span.

universe has a mean arm, then. a quiet snort, breath fogging between them. looks okay. no damage, he assures her with a quick up-down glance, far too pleased with himself.

There was no denying that she caught his attention, and it wasn't just because she had taken a pretty messy fall. Gwendolyn was now facing the impressive brute, taking in his words and drinking him in like a cold spring. Can't keep your eyes off me, can you? She smiles more at him, her voice hitting more of a flirtatious tone but nothing more.

No, thankfully I am okay. If anything, minor bruising. Who are you by the way? She gave him another look, her eyes tracing his massive figure up and down. You have a name handsome? A glimmer in her eyes shown of a playful attitude, tail waving behind her as she waited patiently for an answer.
