I got the sun in the morning and the moon at night - Persimmon - 4/21/2026 That hadn’t been so bad. Lots of chaos, and Persi wasn’t really sure what had happened, but then he got spit out into some field. Didn’t know where he was, what was happening, anyone around him. Did any of that matter?
Not one fuckin’ bit. Did the wetness, dripping down over his back? Even less; just thought it was a patch of snow melting on him, no big deal, it’d happened before. One of his paws didn’t want to hold his weight though, and he was left stumbling about, confused. Nothing seemed wrong, though, and he couldn’t figure out why something clearly was! How strange. Persimmon didn’t see anyone familiar. “Mutter?” Nothing. Apple was small, but she was pretty good at either answering or popping head-first from a bush somewhere to spy the errant child and coming to lead him back home. The young boy began to head in a random direction (North) and started walking, apparently unbothered. Bleeding and limping on a fractured wrist, not realizing Sparrow was here too, just looking for Apple. What else was he to do? Wow, was it bright though. It'd never been so bright his entire life! All he remembered were clouds, clouds, clouds, the cold bite of winter, the icy frostkill. This must be the sun Mutter spoke of! Was it Spring now?! RE: I got the sun in the morning and the moon at night - Sparrow - 5/12/2026 That. Sucked. Luckily for her, she had managed to avoid a killing blow, unlike so many others. Poor Vitus, poor...others who she didn't really know. She had watched the three wolves around the poor young man from a distance, whispering her own prayers for the dead before a certain little body caught her eye. Shit. Purse!Sparrow barked out, sounding a little frantic, like she did on bad mornings after her nightmares ate at her all night. Boy c'mereThe coywolf trotted to the pastel boy, startling somewhat when they realized their legs were glowing like how they would when channeling magic. Great. Super. What a big fucking joke from the gods, giving them the glow without returning their actual magic and filling that little hole in their scrap of soul. Of course Persimmon would have been the one to get injured, the one pup that couldn't feel shit in her current charges. You've got wounds Purseshe told him, though she knew it wouldn't slow the boy down one bit. |
