After almost two years of skirting around mutual feelings and narrowly avoiding cardiac arrest whenever they occupied the same space, Alder Callosum and Sølvi Solskin have finally managed to share custody of a single functioning brain cell - and now, unfortunately for everyone else, there are children on the way.

This litter will be born and raised within the ranks of Dawnbreak (located in Frostfang Vale), though they will hold familial ties to both Elysium and Northfall as well!

Bearing the Callosum surname, these pups will be raised by loving, attentive, and deeply devoted parents, if not always the most graceful or... sensible ones. Alder and Solvi may stumble their way through parenthood at times, but one thing will never be in question: they will always be present for their children, and for whatever consequences their decisions may bring.

This litter will be in the presence of other pups around the same time, meaning there will be a lot of potential for fellow-pup threads that aren't just siblings! We anticipate a lot of fun and shenanigans from this pair and their kids, and we're so excited to invite others to be a part of it all.

Grandma Valeska (and by proxy Grandma Amaranth) will have a fairly active presence in the pups' lives - Amaranth in particular will likely emotionally grapple with Viscaria and Cypress' marks in this litter.

Last but not least - all pups will have the chance to inherit a glowing Mark of Mythris from their parents at birth!

1. - Activity requirements: While we respect all activity levels and we understand that life can make posting difficult at times, we also want to be sure these pups are at least maintaining 1 post per 3 months to remain active, but we would like to see them posting at a greater frequency as well! We will try our best to provide ample opportunity for you to wedge into one-on-one and group posts, but our DMs/family chat is always open if you’re struggling. We are happy to help figure out a solution if you’re feeling lost or need a bit of help getting on track. :) However, should a pup go inactive without contacting us/responding to attempts to contact you, we will take them back to be adopted back out.


2. - Post requirements: Pups’ designs are 100% yours after 80 posts. There’s no deadline on this. The post count resets if the pup is adopted out a second time (so if it comes to second player with 20 posts, the new owner will need to have 100 posts on the account total since 20 were not their posts). This number spans between “lives” in the event a pup dies for whatever reason and is reincarnated, so you won’t lose any ownership progress!

After your 80 posts, the design is all yours - as is their Toyhouse profile, which we will then transfer, and all art we provided. Each pup comes with an Arkana chibi and a mini from Chirpeax in addition to the original design made by Karle and Tasha. At 80 posts, the design will be transferred to you on Toyhouse. You are no longer subject to a pup being taken back due to inactivity or leaving the site at this point.

In the event the pup is taken/given back before you attain ownership, all original assets remain ours. If you have purchased art of the character while it was being played by you, please let us know - there’s a very good chance we’d like to buy rights to it to keep it with the character! Otherwise, you may repurpose the art for a different character.

In the event you want to sell the design after fully owning it, we reserve the right of first refusal - meaning we would ask that you please offer them to us to purchase before opening them to the general market. Ideally, we would like to keep the adopt in the family and permitting us to purchase them would make that possible.


3. - If you decide to leave Vivarium before 80 posts, the puppy will be transferred back to us. If you have our design, that will come back to us. If you have your own design, the "child" will return to us, but you can keep your design!


4. - Please avoid immediate killing/kidnapping/death/maiming. Or, check in with us! We love chaos, as long as it is communicated!


5. - Please note there may be off-screen activity. This means there may be events/situations/assumptions communicated OOC that should translate to IC (this will be discussed before happening!) We will do our best to have threads for whatever is possible, but please understand there may be instances where things need to be hashed out OOC - especially if there’s threads that need to be sorted out before the next.


Ultimately, communication is key. This is a family group of mixed speed posters! We encourage both IC writing and OOC communication to make a happy family. We look forward to seeing your applications!
