Alla ævina - Vidarr - 6/13/2026

skill: astronomer 1/5

Above him, The Mother's Crown was cresting, the skies were clear and beautiful. Vidarr sat in awe, even with the brief evening he spent with Svajonė beneath it, he had not seen it so clearly. There was also the pesky fact that he had been mostly lost in the vision of Svajone. He could not be blamed for such a thing, though - anyone who saw her would agree. Her beauty shone the same way the stars above them did. He truly was smitten. It was perhaps the gift of family that she had given him in Reid - but maybe there also was the times that they had risked life and limb to save one another without hesitation.

He had met her and immediately thrown himself into battle for her.

She had found him and immediately ran into the flames for him.

And together they had found each other and found their family. They had Reid, and the Shakti-Vaes children, and all of Dawnbreak itself. And elsewhere Svajone's family traveled, and their caravan stretched for miles and miles all together, while in distant halls of cold stone his clan kept their fortress and slept to the sounds of the sea crashing on the jagged cliffs. Vidarr had stayed by her side through every moment of her labor and the birth of their son. It was tragic, and it was beautiful at the same time, even through the deep sorrows of losing the other pups. He had been the first gentle touch that Reid had felt. He had made sure that he provided them food and safety. He made sure that he provided, as it meant that Svajone could rest and recover.

He thought of the life he'd led before so long ago that kept him wandering so aimlessly. He still kept a part of himself with his mother and siblings and the loves and friends that he had known before. He could not completely let go, and he wished so often that he would see Ormr and Eira crest the hill and return to him. His hope was that they had been returned to his mother and their other siblings. Selfishly, he did wish that he would have his mother here with him, to know the ones he loved so dearly and the ones that he bound himself to. He let out a heavy sigh as he considered how far life had taken him.

Nottin and Dalamatia had the correct idea - that the world had not ended, and they had so much to celebrate. Love, prosperity, families growing - Dawnbreak was entering a busy, golden, joyous era.
