A Wanderer - Crane - 6/29/2026

The sun was piercing the sky with no cloud in sight. The only chance of shade was the tall trees and bushes. This was not a pleasant day to be out, but Crane knew that Ravorn had to be guarded, no matter the weather. Did he enjoy it at the moment, not in the slightest. He would rather rest in the shade and spend some time with others in the pack to stay cool, especially a certain warrior as himself named Ceridwen.

There was plenty of time to have days like those, for now, it was time to make sure Ravorn wasn't being taken advantage of by loners. His paws slowly moving through the trees and grass, his mind thinking that he was being swift and silent, but he was just loud enough to be easily heard.

Malakor seemed to linger around the throne longer than he really wanted. It was none other than to advance himself in the layout of this land. Any tree, any crevice. Dens. Packs. Anything that he could use to scoop up knowledge. Today?

Today was different.

He felt better. He wasn’t sure if it was the hares he plucked up on the outskirts or if he deemed a lead.

Paw carried his tall slender frame through trees, where he settled upon a small clearing. Fireborne eyes scoured the surroundings, listening to the canopy above him. Birds chirped and chattered. Insects seemed to be at rest.

The King made no effort to hide himself, he stood in the open. It wasn’t until he heard unfamiliar crunching of pawsteps— the flaps of wings carrying themselves to the canopy. Looking over his shoulder, the King searched for the source of the sound.

Getting to the edge of the treeline, a scent caught his attention. It wasn't a Ravorn wolf, but it was clear it was just a wolf alone. He was expecting to be a bit before he found them, but the moment he made it to the edge, the wolf was right there in front of him. Their head looking back over their shoulder, so they clearly knew that Crane was around.

"You look like you were expecting someone." Crane's voice calm, both non-threatening, but also observant to see what kind of wolf was standing before him.

Someone long lost it seems. Malakor sighed, ears flattened at the sight of someone different than he expected. The maroon coated wolf turned around to face the wolf before him. Many scents lingered them.

Clearly they weren't alone.

Apologies for treading. Was chasing a familiar scent and it lead here. The King remained cautious. Anyone could be after him. Or her. They did it once, there could be no telling they'd do it again. Simply put… he needed information. Anything to scrape the ground with. What is this place?

RE: A Wanderer - Crane - 7/3/2026

The grey and white wolf was indeed looking for someone, and the sight of Crane seemed to bring them down from whatever hope they had. They apologized for intruding and asking about this place, which Crane was lenient about, as he was in the same situation as this wolf was. "The territory you're in is Ravorn, however, we are a newly formed pack, so you're in no danger for being here, nor do we have any ill will towards others while we're establishing the pack." Crane new that those words wouldn't always apply in the near future, but it would for now make interactions like this less hostile.

"My name's Crane, I'm a Creachadoir of Ravorn, which is a warrior. What's your name?" His tail swayed as he was interested in knowing the wolf's name. Crane was a loner for a long time, so he knew that having a wolf being friendly instead of hostile was something that he preferred back then, so he figured that this male would appreciate the same thing.
