〔❁〕Fill me up, - Izumi - 7/19/2026

Congrats guys, we're live! This'll be backdated to 7/17 on the day of the pack's founding; a lil celebratory howl!

Osamu Gekirin Kaguya Aika Haruto Πασιθεα Makara Masae Sovereign

Izumi stood upon the shoreline of Queen's Rest that night. A glowing cresent within the sky smiled down upon her and casted a soft light on her pale fur like a halo. Blissful was the sweet perfume of wisteria blooms that danced in the wind — blessed were the tides that hissed against the sands as they came and receded. The cranebird was home again, she could feel that much with the sand beneath her paws and the smell of the ocean. Ryūjin pulls her back to hearth once more to finish the legacy he's started, and it was the Empress' job to continue it.

A path she first took with uncertainty, and now carried with the pride of her family's bloodline.

Her dark muzzle cast skyward — a long winded howl to the moon and the stars. The island was now theirs, from the sands to the forests that lie deep within. She wanted to make that much known to those who lied beyond and those amongst the clan who wished to join her in this declaration of claim. The Dynasty would continue to live on under her rule, and the rule of those who came after her. No longer would these lands be a memory of what once was — it would be the foundation of what was to come.

Long live the Dynasty of the West...

RE: 〔❁〕Fill me up, - Osamu - 7/19/2026

For the first time in many, many moons, Osamu felt content. As the pale moon cast its glow against the snow-white fur of their Empress, he stood utterly motionless, completely enraptured by the vision; a part of him still felt somehow unworthy in her presence, something he might never truly shake no matter how much time passed between them.

Yet so long as she encouraged his company - so long as she looked at him the way she did with her lilac gaze, warm and gentle and kind - not even the most terrible demon could tear him from her side.

Osamu lifted his head and joined her triumphant song, his own howl deep with a rasping edge as it intertwined with hers. Not once, not twice, but thrice the fates had brought them together, and although it was not in the nature of a Samurai to feel pride, the grizzled wolf felt immeasurably honored to have been there at her side in aid each time Fujiwara had risen from the ashes.

And he would do it for her again - and again - and again.

As the rest of the wolves gathered around them, Osamu experienced a sense of belonging he had never before known to be within his reach.

RE: 〔❁〕Fill me up, - Gekirin - 7/19/2026

There was no other sight quite like the one he saw that night. Izumi bathed in moonlight, head high as she sang to the heavens. A sense of pride and belonging evident in her voice as she called out for others of the clan to join her.

Gekirin was right there, as always, keeping his bonds of loyalty to the Empress no matter what stood in his way. A prince once upon a dream, it was time that he left that part of his past behind him. And now embraced a future where he could be her right hand, a guide when she needed it most.

A friend to call upon when things got rough, or to share a happy moment such as this. Along with the rest of his emotions swirling around inside of him, for the first time in many moon, he felt completely at home. In that moment, he knew that this would always be his home, for as long as they wished him to be there.

Gekirin came closer, joining her and Osamu by their sides. A dark muzzle casted itself upwards to the heavens, letting out his own call. A voice that was deep, sensitive and filled with longing. Rising and falling like the most elegant piece of music. A trait no doubt collected from his mother, a smile appearing at the thought of her memory.

Yet again, Aika was so proud of her sister pulling it off. Their home was once more. She was able to feel the warmth, the salt in her fur, all of it was a relief off her shoulders. While all she did was support her sister in her duties.. she was grateful to be home. It was terrifying to be away for so long.

Again.

As others began to lift her maw, she did the same. A silvered maw turned up to the nightsky. A soft winded howl caved from her chest, standing beside the empress.

So long as the heir was around, she was going to support her sister wherever she needed it. That was for sure. Izumi could always count on her.

Well.. so long as she wasn't lost on the mainland.
