Had me wishin’ I were gone - Yoshi - 7/24/2026

With the dynasty fresh and newly formed within the island of Queen's rest, his cousin felt she'd been too busy making sure things were in order to leave the boarders so soon. So instead she sends Yoshi to the next stop she had planned for that week; Northern Alpines. He had never been to the alpines himself — apparently this is where the Empress and her band had first ended up in the beginning when she'd woken up in the lands Mythiris. A place by the name of Duskguard had let them take refuge here for the time being — and cousin Izumi wanted to know of their well being. Something about an old friend…?

He'd go if he'd have to, as was his duty to serve for the family. Truthfully though he did not wish to go on a diplomatic mission alone (and Aika wasn't too keen on leaving the boarders either, unfortunately). Thankfully, Kaguya agreed to tag along with him so that he had at least someone that he knew with him, and the Baron was grateful for the she-wolf's company.

Stay close, miss Kaguya, and let me know if you feel even the slightest discomfort. Mountainous terrain can be quite dangerous if you're not careful. He assured as the two of them climbed the heights above. Northfall — a place he'd heard whispered about from within the Ravorn festival him and cousin Aika had arrived to. Apparently it was now home to Semya's former matriarch: Raisa. It was another place of interest Izumi had wanted Yoshi to investigate, and so he did.

As the two of them arrived at the boarders, the stopped a safe distance as too not encroach on clearly marked boarders. The bard sent a howl off into the air to announce their presence, his breath condescending within the crisp chill of northern air.
