The mountain chain from the edges of the Dawn's Cuesta all the way to the outskirts of the forest he called home, was a far longer trek than Jaskier had been quite prepared for. Not at all quite realizing that the stretch of mountains here was longer than anywhere else in the country. Had he known, he might have decided to pop back in the travel tunnel in the south instead.
Alas, here he was. Another day had come and gone, leaving a quiet night and tired limps ready to settle down until the sun rose yet again. Though as he left the peaks that Jakten claimed as their own, a new claim settled into his nostrils around these peaks. Far less noticeable from the sure might of Jakten's forces, but unmistakable nonetheless.
He would most certainly need to greet these wolves of this new settlement, especially so if they were to call themselves neighbor! Although certainly it would take days all of its own just to work their way out from the mountains to come and visit!
A newfound grin and readiness in him despite his day's travel, he calls out to the wolves of Velaris with welcomed cheer in his song.
