break the dawn - Daiyu - 8/13/2026 skill: vagabond After a well caught dinner from her prince and rest overlooking the world tree in the far south, the pair hopped the step stones to the island, entering the tunnel and walked the day through it with hope for a path to bring them to the newly blossomed world tree in the far northeast. Her paws were quite sore by the end of their trek. Far from used to walking on hard stone in such an expanse, but the adventure was most worth it, the little siren would remind herself. As they walked and talked, a mostly dark, cool and hard walk through a tunnel for a day, her mind wandered. It had too, if she wasn't going to panic about not seeing the sun or hearing the sea and wondering if they might ever get out of hereā¦.!! Already, the many dreams, teleportations and trials which she had endured, among the thousands of other souls in this world, was like any odd fairytale dream in the back of her mind. She could hardly believe she had once fought for a dying world. Fought undead wraiths for that matter. A war which spilt magic all throughout the realm, permanent on its residents now. Daiyu's own coat held a faint glow now, like microscopic little creatures which made the waters of her once home glow. She wondered what Regis had done and seen during those dark (literally) times, but would not ask. He carried no Mythris mark on him and thought perhaps his paws had taken him even far darker places. It's what kept him from refusing to leave her side now and the siren found she was selfishly alright with that. Eventually, firefly light made itself present, dancing around the opening of the cavern as usual. Daiyu gasped and cantered forward with a sudden burst of adrenaline, half of which was ecstatic to be free of this dark tunnel! Come on, we've made it! |
