At the ripe age of six months, Roskva was now nearly indistinguishable from an adult; she would have, perhaps, still appeared slightly smaller, but at her current rate of growth and the very specific genetics at play, she was now roughly the same size as the average female present.

Trotting through the festivities, she zeroed in on a scent reminiscent of fruit and thought maybe it could lead her to those plump, juicy berries everyone kept eating and getting silly over. She wanted to eat them and get silly too! There were so many smells, however, that she struggled to parse this particular scent from what she actually sought, and against all odds came up against...

... A child.

Hey, you're not a fruit, she said, frowning. Still, maybe this could be turned around.
