I wouldn't say I was lonely - Sorcha - 2/3/2025

The trees were whispering secrets to one another as the moon awoke. Lifting just enough over the horizon to spread her light across the land, setting things alight in dappled patches. Evening brought with it a peaceful solace nurtured by the silence of winter. Overhead, strange lights danced in the sky and painted the glistering snow in shades of green and blue.

Moving across the landscape with intended and yet graceful approach was a a tall and elegant canine. Her coloration muted to soft grays under the light, plush fur along her cheeks and neck bouncing with each step. Her movements poked thorugh the reverie of twilight as splayed paws crunched the top layer of snow, long-since frozen since no new snow had arrived.

She wasn't quite sure what her destination was. She was simply moving regularly, somewhat north, her blue eyes focusing up and around her at any given moment. In fact, Sorcha wasn't entirely sure how she had even gotten here. She just wanted to find somewhere to rest, maybe somewhere that felt comfortable for a while. She thought she might know it once she saw it, as if setting her eyes on the destination would immediately tell her it was fate.
