to find better oxygen - Dimitri - 2/19/2025

Skill: Acolyte / Tunnel of Love 1/5

Set after the funeral, before the tournament

Dimitri doesn't plan on entering the fighting. Frankly, he finds it barbaric, and given his proclivities, it's best to not tempt fate with the spirits. The taste of blood could be a trigger for the demonic, and he could lose control. Honestly, not the best way to rekindle this diplomatic relationship-- no, he'll stay far from that.

For the moment he finds himself alone. He supposes he could go find Fiadh, or any of his siblings that came to the celebration of life, or one of Fleetwood's children, but something tells him to wait. And he's almost instantly glad he does, because who does he see crest the foothill than the boy he was going to teach.

"Vitus." There's a shadow behind him, a rather angry one, and he gives her a nod as well. "Did you want to talk? Catch up a bit?" Arvid's speech, Dimitri could guess, does not line up with Vitus's role and beliefs. A sage might find his days numbered in a pack like this.

He glances towards a nearby cave that could get them out of the snow. He doesn't know Northfall well enough to know the cave had not been there days before. "Let's head in here, yeah? Your friend can come, too. I have questions for you, and I'm sure you have questions for me." Though he's not sure he has answers. Vitus might be his pupil, but this is a task he's never faced.

RE: to find better oxygen - Vitus - 4/10/2025

Skill: Seer 1/5

Vitus had been bullied into entering the tournament, well not exactly bullied into it but...well, his siblings and cousins were entered so he should to, though he wasn't a fighter. Sure, he can fight well, but he doesn't like it.

To make matters worse though, Arvid had announced to the world that Northfall denounced any and all gods as a welcome for the other packs that had gathered, as if every single visitor would agree with him.

But where did that leave Vitus.

He, who has spent his entire life becoming a seer, one who spoke and translated the spirits and gods messages to the pack, he who went so far as to seek out a teacher from another pack so he could better serve Northfall as their one and only seer. A mentor, seeing as so far he had none except Wardruna and his grandfather, who's priorities lay elsewhere. Vitus was now left...adrift.

Fuming with anger, though his face remained neutral, he could understand now why his siblings were so...fighty. But he didn't like it, not really, he needs time to think properly. But what better way to do that then deal with other problems first?

The seer had seen Dimitri in the crowd at the announcement, and he still needs to tell Elli that he was going to Elysium to train in the spring....maybe the news will go down better if she meets him before she tells him.

Or maybe, at least, she's less likely to tear him a new one for even thinking of leaving her with a stranger watching.

So he asked his sister to follow him, as he sought out the Elysium wolf.

That...yes that would be nice the yearling agreed. This is my sister, Elli. El, this is Dimitri, I met him when we went to Elysium she may remember him stalking off after they met with Valeska and broke the news.

This cave though...this cave had not been here before. Knowing these lands, it's probably another creepy cave like the ones from before...it's good the three of them are here.
