What kind of weasel are you - Carnifex - 3/4/2025
It was weird, returning to their forest and feeling warm. It really put into perspective how much he's...changed since he woke up on the mou to top. Since the gods have molded him into something different, sturdier, more adaptable.
But as Carnifex does, he doesn't think too hard about it.
He is a man on a mission, keeping the scent lines strong and the territory secure, more than once now he's snuck up on unsuspecting coyotes and foxes and...taken care of them. They are not Sem'ya, and they are not wolves or other felines, so free game as far as he's concerned. Snacks for the road that satisfy his craving for canine.
As he patrolled he caught the scent of something...musky. Different. The Sovereign had notified him of the new member of the group, but he has yet to properly meet her, but that...stench, couldn't be her right? Maybe it was, but in any case Carnifex opened his mouth to sniff at the air and prowled forward to investigate, quiet, blending into the trees far better than he had as a lion. His pale coat and stripes a mirror of the trees themselves as he walked, so as he got closer to the source of the newest scent he chuffed, calling out a greeting but otherwise remaining quiet.
Wouldn't be good to startle a new packmate now, right?
