A strong herbivore (Tyr) - Eabha - 3/17/2025 It was morning in Storm Reach. The sun was out with a slight cold chill in the air. This didn't bother Eabha in the slightest because she could easily deal with much harsher conditions easily like champ. Her body and hooves were specifically made for climbing the steepest, highest, rocky conditions, despite her large size. As she got closer the smell of wolves filled her nostrils. She knew she needed to be careful. But just because she was careful, doesn't mean she was scared. She had two deadly horns and she wasn't afraid to use them. She meant no harm to any creature, she was simply a traveler that's all. As she walked she sang a song mother used to sing to her. Her voice was absolutely beautiful as the words left her mouth. "My mother told me not to fear the steep mountain, for I was made to own it. My hooves never fail me for I climb high, I own the mountain, I know it." Yes, a song of the harsh mountains her mother sang to her. She knew so many other songs as well, even some she made up herself. She sang to her heart's content as she walked with her horns held high. Someone was in their territory that he hadn't accounted for. The norseman didn't immediately panic and instead sought them out with the use of his nose, following the musky pines of their scent into the higher elevations of their mountain range. It was a place not many ventured to, instead favouring the southern more fair temperatures of their island.
The god waded through the snows that showed no sign of melting despite the oncoming spring, the worn path still covered by an inch or so of the white blanket from winter's grip. His mismatched gaze crossed the terrain, scanning, searching for the invader of their space. It was no wolf, nor was it predatory, but that did not mean it was not a threat. First came the lullaby, a voice soft on the wild of the mountain pass that he crossed. It was alluring, tempting the male closer. It wasn't long before he spied the golden hues of the beast ahead, waltzing through the mountains to the beat of their drum. It was a strange sight, the goat like creature just wandering the territory with no mind to its inhabitance. And yet, the god was curious. Hei,he beckoned, breaking the beast's song before it could continue. RE: A strong herbivore (Tyr) - Eabha - 4/9/2025 The Irish speaking golden takin immediately stopped singing and stopped walking when a lone male wolf made himself known before her. He didn't seem threatening and Eabha was not worried by his presence. He greeted her, and Eabha decided to politely do the same. "Greetings lone wolf. I am Eabha O Beirne, an Irish traveler. I am no threat to you or anyone else who lives here. What may I ask is your name?" Her Irish accent was clear in her voice. Eabha's dark brown eyes held no malice, but was warm and welcoming. She knew what danger was, and it was clear to her there was no danger here in this moment. |
