Colour filled the earth - Fiadh - 5/9/2025 They've been cooped up for far too long. Fiadh's lost count of the times she'd watched Ksyusha walk headfirst into the wall, how many times she or Dimitri had to pull a pup back away from the den's entrance. She was glad that they had so much energy, and it was long past the time for them to go outside and run around. The only problem with that? It had been raining, for days, and Fiadh wasn't about to let their first glimpse of the big wide world be dull and Wet. Sasha was already too timid for Fiadh's liking, she'd probably be hiding in the den for the rest of her life if her first experience was the cold puddles and getting soaked to the bone. Not to mention she also wasn't going to be risking one of the pups getting sick. But when she woke up this morning the sounds of birds was in the air, her tail wagging as she uncurled herself from the pup pile to go poke her head outside (Yes Dimitri, she tapped the rock). Slipping out of the den, Fiadh took a quick trot around to ensure the area was predator free, scanning the skies for birds of prey that might swoop down to try for their precious bundles. It was clear. Today was going to be a wonderful day! Fiadh was downright giddy when she came back to the den, crouching down at the entrance and calling in. Alright go time! C'mon out babes Of course, Dimitri was probably going to make them tap the rock first. RE: Colour filled the earth - Ksyusha - 5/27/2025 There was excited screeching as Fiadh called into the den, Ksyusha trying to rush forward and into the Out before being pulled back and made to tap the rock, slapping at it awkwardly before tumbling her way out into the bright world. Ow!Her red eyes were squinted against the light, the girl hesitating once she was actually out in the open air, she hadn't expected it to hurt after all! But the hurt didn't last long, like Éabha biting at her but her eyeballs, and once more Ksyusha was filled with the drive to see the world. As fast as she could, though still very...very slow, Ksyusha made her way into the grass, her nose working overtime at the sniff factory. So many things to smell, so little time! RE: Colour filled the earth - Éabha. - 5/27/2025 ![]() My Darling, You will never be unloved by me, you are too well tangled in my soul
1-0-1 OC speechemotional actions thoughts The pup wasn't at first eager to get out of the den, too warm and snuggled up within the confines. The warmth outside simply lulling her further into a slumber she attempted to slip into, although that was until she heard the birds and the call of her Ma to come out. Her face contorted as a yawn slipped out, glancing upwards to the entrance of the den and squinted. Pupils adjusting to the light, watching as Ksyusha tapped a rock. Odd.. Éabha was slow to get to her paws, stretching and yapping her woes to the world for a mere moment before they were lulled to silence. Her body was round, stumpy and thriving with curiosity, each wobbly movement was lead by her interest of the outer world. Only getting glimpses before being snatched back to the nest to remain in the den, she was never happy about being grabbed.. The moment she stepped up to the entrance of the den, the silver pup glanced to the rock Ksyusha had tapped. Her interest piqued, she didn't understand the tapping but, perhaps it couldn't hurt..Without a second though, without being told or asked, Éabha tapped her paw against the rock, lifting it to see if anything magical happened, disappointed nothing did happen. That disappointment turned into a silent anger that didn't mean anything, face scrunching and paws carrying her fluffy figure out of the den. The light blinded her, but didn't hurt her eyes, instead the pup looked up, directly to the light source and that's when she yipped at the slight pain. Ouchie.. Shaking her head, Éabha looked around slowly, seeing the dots in her eyes from staring at the sun for merely a second. Eyes fixating on a rock in the grass just beyond the den entrance. With one glance to her Ma, The gremlin child toddled her way to the rock, flopping to her pinkish tummy and grasping it in her clunky paws. Bringing it close, Éabha attempted to gnaw on the rock, finding nothing but rough, rounded edges that stopped her from even chewing. A scowl appeared, and with a glance to Fiadh, Éabha was scowling directly to her and mimicked what seemed like the tiniest growl, more like a whine than anything. Instead of crying because she was upset, Éabha decided to go for something else. A soft purple flower that caught her interest.. Like Dimitri's eyes! It was very pretty and looked..yummy.. Without seconds to spair, Éabha had the flower ripped from it's stem and was slapping her jaws together to get the flower unstuck from the roof of her mouth. Mlem..Mlem..Constant sounds of her mouth smacking closed until she got the flower loose and spat it out. RE: Colour filled the earth - Thorn - 5/27/2025 Darragh looks at the rock and shouts, at the top of her lungs, "No!" Then she starts laughing, because that's her favorite word. Then she makes to move out of the den, unafraid in the slightest. Mommy has said bad things happen if one didn't perform the right rituals, but Darragh doesn't believe that in the slightest. She charges into the sunlight. It's so bright! It's so wonderful! It's overwhelming!
She screams, making it about two seconds before Dimitri grabs her by the scruff and places her paws against the rock. Darragh squirms as she's placed down, then heads back out into the sunlight and starts screaming again. "No! No! No!" It's her favorite word, and it's a chorus of joy as she bounces around, trying to tear up as much of the grass as possible. RE: Colour filled the earth - Siobhan1 - 5/27/2025 Skill - Ranger
Today was the day, a day to see whatever they were hiding in the great beyond. It was blindingly bright as she followed the crew, beckoned by her mum's heavenly voice... Maybe heavenly wasn't the way to put it. While others cringed and whined, Siobhan schooled her expression, giving her eyes time to adjust as she stood at the mouth of the den. Life began to come into focus: the hills, the grass, the sky. Her jaw almost dropped, slackening at the hinge as she stared. Siobhan didn't take another step, simply planting her ass when she stood and explored with her eyes. The wind was a new sensation too, as it rustled the baby hairs of her fur. For what felt like hours (minutes), she sat agape, staring at the clouds as they rolled on by. All of it stirred something within that little brain of hers and she mustered up the word that felt right. Fuck... RE: Colour filled the earth - Cian - 7/27/2025 In a way, the idea that there was a whole world beyond the den was something Cian didn’t actually consider. It knew there was, of course- it could see the outside from where it was sitting now- but it hadn’t occurred to the pup that it was for it and its family, too. The thought of it is more than a little scary. Even as its mother calls for them, even as its siblings follow, Cian stays near the edge of the entrance, shifting its weight a bit nervously. None of its siblings seemed to be bothered in any way, but they had all been stopped to touch the rock. And Cian didn’t even know what the rock did. Was it something to stop anyone from being mean to them all? Was there anyone out there that would be mean to them? Scary. It says, instead of rushing out, at its spot near the entrance. |
