Layre had left the pregnant she wolf sleeping. Food near here. Some sort of sogn scratched in the dirt for her to know he was coming back. And he set forth to explore.
Large paws tearing up the loam he kept blue eyes on the horizon. Snout in the air. Gathering all the information he could. Occasionally he scared a hare or two from the underbrush. But didn't chase yet. He'd make sure to grab something on his way back.
