As the ground warms, to the first rays of light - Saga - 8/16/2025

Saga had always avoided the dark healer because damn, did she set off every alarm bell in the poor doves sweet little mind. The ebony coat, the piercing, pale eyes -- she wasn't identical, but close enough that all Saga saw was the imposing form of Laurel standing there, disappointment twisting her features. It was the main reason the nymph had never sought out lessons before, but before, her position was not teetering upon dire. Now she had to suck it up and move past the mental wall for the betterment of, well, many. Besides, another healer was never amiss, right? Especially one who lived within the den of the Huntsman --er, Einvald.

Saga wondered idly while she walked; what would even happen now, if Joxer returned? They weren't even The Saints anymore, would he expect more power than Nyra? Would the Pets having children really be the worst offence?

Tracking the shadows scent back to her den, Saga slowed to a halt some paces from the den; she could hear movement, was confident the femme was not yet asleep, but still felt bad to call a gentle: Eldritch? Do you have a moment?

The merge was...certainly an adjustment period, it seemed.
Though Eldritch was glad to have her sister close again, she wasn't entirely certain how most of the others felt about the whole thing.
In the midst of her quiet musing while sorting her herbs, the shadow's ears flicked to catch the timid voice of Saga outside her den.

"Always." The Seidkona responded in her soft way from within, rising to pad out into the open to see Saga; "What troubles you?" She asked, genuine care in her tone - most others did not come to her unless they needed something, after all.
Though the newly-appointed Thane didn't mind this, she did notice.

An unbidden shiver ran up Sagas spine as the pitch wolfess emerged from the maw of the den. Her features were smooth, unreadable, though there was an unrecognized softness to her gaze Laurel could never hold. It rang in her tone, bolstering the Fox as she swallowed past a lump.
What troubled her? A great many things.

Saga threw caution to the wind, wondering if Eldritch would keep the ill-concealed privacy there mightve been left to the situation but deciding she had a right to know. The healers help would be needed in more ways than one, and Saga wasn't keen to lie to her.

I find myself pregnant, she breathed quietly, And I... I need to be confident in my abilities. To prove I am more.

To provide. To shield herself. Saga sucked in a deep breath, head bowed, eyes tilted upwards to Eldritch’s face.

I was hoping you'd be willing to take an apprentice. My herbal knowledge is limited to exactly one plant I've never seen, but I was a midwife back in my birth pack.
