Hunter, Hunter - Lykaon - 12/25/2025

Lykaon moved through the forest. There had been no packs that he smelled near here. Elysium was near, but as of yet he had not been accepted into their fold. So he decided on this day he would hunt. Keep himself busy and practiced. Each footstep, he breathed in and out. Yellow eyes on the horizon. He opened his claws and dug them deep into the soil. Mouth open testing the air. He sifted the soft snow through his paws. Snow made it hard to feel the prey beneath his weathered paws. But it sure made it easier to spot them.

Snow landed upon broad shoulders, laying in a coat of frost and rime. He tilted his head, ears perked forward. A flash of brown. Soft doe eyes and he was off, in pursuit. No growl, no sound. Just footfalls heavy on fallen snow. It whipped against his eyes and coated his muzzle in it's glory. But he followed the doe as she ran. The thrill of the chase giving him more fire in his veins.

RE: Hunter, Hunter - Jarek - 12/28/2025

The rain he’d so despised had turned to snow, falling heavy through the leaves of the glade. Jarek had wandered away from the castle for a short jaunt, returning to the familiar throng of trees. Winter swept in swiftly, blanketing the world in a chill he hadn’t expected and cutting his fuse even shorter. The dog came to a stop, nose to the ground, inspecting an old scent marker. Nearby underbrush shuddered and Jarek lazily glanced in its direction with the expectation that a squirrel or hare would emerge from its depths. In a second, the large, soft form of a doe bounded from the thickets. Two pairs of eyes - predator and prey - widened in surprise at each other as the deer leapt, its hooves thudding across his hips.

What the f— Jarek snarled as he caught himself, legs flung wide to steady his heavy build from crashing to the earth. The deer was out of sight by the time he'd stopped swaying. Ready to throw a string of expletives after the doe, Jarek found himself once again face to face with a quickly incoming creature - the wolf clearly in the chase. He rushed to move out of its path, muscles tensed and ready in case of a secondary impact.

Watch where you’re bloody goin’!

RE: Hunter, Hunter - Lykaon - 3/21/2026

I apologize my health took a turn and I have been absent.

Lykaon almost had a collision. But he managed to swerve and then he skidded to a stop. HE turned swiftly. He hadn't meant to cause an issue or an accident. So he let his quarry go for now. And spoke

I apologize! Are you okay?

Though he was disappointed to lose a meal. He was more upset with almost having knocked someone for a loop.
