Across Vivarium we welcome the arrival of Autumn, painting the landscape in yellows, oranges, and reds. The volcanoes now lay dormant. No more does the sky darken with thick smoke nor does it rain ash and soot. But, what’s this? Moments ago Mother Nature was unleashing her fury upon us all, and now she seems to be rewarding those that have survived her attempt at mass extinction. For the first few weeks of Autumn, fire rainbows and undulatus asperatus cloud formations will be seen across all reaches of Vivarium!

Halloween - admin - 10/1/2024
All across Vivarium, you will be able to find caves that you swear were not there before, you’re positive they weren’t. Yet, here they were, eerily dark within, as if light stood no chance against its shadows. Under the moonlight, an ominous fog will pour from the entrance, and you notice it looks… strange. It appears to be an unnatural, ghostly green color. Chills rush down your spine, and you can’t help but feel as if something sinister has its eyes on you, watching your every move…

Goodbye Spooky season and hello winter! Vivarium seems to be ushering in the holiday season with the first world-wide snow fall. Blizzards may be on the horizon, but weather is not the only thing that seems different. Santa Paws has paid us a visit, leaving some interestingly lit trees, animal shaped snowmen, and other things...

Ever wonder about those sparkly dots in the sky? For all you star lovers, the time has come for you to help create Mythris' constellation system! Our Star Constellation discovery page is now live, and characters can now submit their IC-found constellations and see them updated on the new Star Guide found in the wiki!

Howlentines is just around the corner, and it seems Mythris has gotten the memo.
Those strange sculptures of snow have vanished, and with them the colorfully lit pine trees. They were enjoyable, while they lasted, and they created memories you will treasure for a lifetime.
Just as quickly as things begin to look normal, you notice an odd sight — at least odd for this time of year. Pink trees, full of blooming flowers and a rich, dark bark. These mysterious trees seem unaffected by the cold, in fact they look to be thriving… Read more in the full announcement!

We’ve gotten quite a few surveys in, and we hear you! We’re still reading your discussions and listening, but wanted to make a quick announcement. We’re working on implementing some quality-of-life changes (pending coder assistance) as well as -
What will be our first fully interactive, full-length board-wide plot players will soon discover and must work together to solve!
This story will have a heavy impact on the world of Mythris and everyone in it, exploring the origins of how it came to be as players embark on a journey led by clues. The world is changing as something dark looms on the horizon, and only by learning the secrets of Mythris’ past can the future be saved.
After all - why do souls suddenly appear in this place? What forces drag our unsuspecting characters from their respective worlds?
Threading and player interaction will be encouraged to find more clues, and we will implement permanent rewards for the penultimate conclusion of the story - stay tuned while we cook!
