Starting Location: Deeper in Storm’s Reach Woods, couple days after X
Skill — Vagabond 1/5

THE DREAM WAS A TROUBLING ONE…

To think the once dragon was now in a race against time to find whatever tugged at his chest, pulled at his heart strings. The Instinctual tug that had been leading the way and making foolish decisions these past days had led Dalgarrus to a different shore, to stare across to another different land. And honestly when it looked like it would of lead back the direction he was FIRST DEBATING ABOUT THE FIRST TIME BEFORE SWIMMING IN FREEZIN-

He is not mad.

Oh nononono why would he ever be MAD.

In retaliation to that cursed tugging, Dalgarrus was resolute to simply explore this Island that he almost drowned AND freezed to swim too. There was signs however of an inhabiting pack that lived here, Dalgarrus may have not had the sense of smell he once had but a wolf was a sharp thing. He could pick up the markings of claimed territory, but nothing ventured! Nothing gained! He was confident in his ability to smooth things over and if not…

Well he may not have wings anymore but as proven a week before his legs sure can swim decently. If anything he doubted they would chase Dalgarrus if he decided it was time to leave and swim for the land to the south of them.

But that was off topic, thoughts musing the dream he found himself having kept creeping upon his thoughts. And although his draconic life was one for much of deities and gods and experiencing seer visions, a vision was clearly what he had to experience! And if context clues was to go by anything it spelled the ending of something fastly approaching.

So, from what he could once recall in his dream vision, he turned his body to where Dalgarrus witnessed the land crack and sundered open. Perhaps there he could find more clues or talk to this mysterious figure.

Rune Discovery : 「 Success — Parasite Present 」

The land is a wounded, war-torn thing. Here on the island and far beyond that shore, lights from distant fissures reflect off low, bleak clouds that roil in wind cold enough to cut your fur.

For a moment you sit perched in silent, what? Trepidation? Anticipation? …Irritation?

Unbeknownst to you, the gales buffeting your fur bring with them a consequence. Spores from malicious plague, quietly working their way into your lungs.

But it’s the breath before the plunge. You may fly no longer; you still recall the revelation of falling, and an easy faith that your wings would catch you. Maybe this is the same.

Fun sepal krose. Kol yia fal ut? The Dream Visitor urges you, coming from everywhere and nowhere all at once.

Surveyal brings success. The subtle tug of a rune grasps your attention, pulling your gaze to a tealcast shore. Tangled in a pile of kelp and sargassum. Crabs might give you trouble, but at least you don’t have gulls to contend against in this squall.

An elated urgency beckons you onward: Shinly, sepafire dre tide yivral ut!

Parasite Event for Dalgarrus

You have several options as a player when confronted with infection.

You may either

1. Choose to automatically fail in repelling the spores, becoming infected

2. Roll for infection (1d100 - 50 and under fails, 51 and over succeeds in repelling the parasite)

3. Choose to repel them, but suffer a crippling migraine and muscle weakness for two in-game weeks

You may roll on the forum or in discord’s bot channel and play out the progression of the consequences without further Narrator intervention.

Note symptoms do not manifest immediately, may take up to three days to begin, and can progress at different rates for different characters. The Blue Turtlehead flowers cultivated by Dawnbreak, Camhanaich, and Satriya can be used to suppress symptoms.

If you are already infected, this will speed up the progression of your illness.
