The girl smiled as he touched the soft fur between her eyes, a paw extending to brush against his cheek. She liked it when Daddy smiled at her, but she tilted her head when he sighed, curious but attentive. Maybe one day she, too, could make friends with them. If daddy was their daddy too, were they family? She loved her siblings, so she couldn't quite grasp why this was different. Still, she had accepted her father's answers from before. While she was still treating them as nicely as she could, she would follow Mama's lead. Everyone listened to Mama, and she was a bit scary to others. Maybe Discordia could learn to be someone others could listen to as well.
Her father's tone pulled her from her thoughts, and she nodded slightly at his response.
Saga, pretty name.
She wanted to know if this Saga felt the same about her, but she wasn't sure she was ready for any more disappointment. When he mentioned Ezra, she looked thoughtfully back at their trip. She remembered hearing the dark man say his name, but she didn't know it was her uncle.
I...I haven't seen anyone else. Is he home?
Her features twisted in thought; she hadn't seen much of anyone, really, for what felt like ever.
Daddy, is everyone in the pack your friend?
She didn't seem the best at making friends, but if she could be more like Mama and Daddy, maybe she could have friends, or at least people who listened to her and the like.
Pools of blue met shimmering amber as Jaxxon lifted his head and looked at her. She watched him carefully, her questions dying down as he spoke of how she was kind and sweet, that some others here wouldn't like that. His tone turned more serious about wanting her to be safe, and she nodded before rolling over to sit between his paws and closer to his face. A pink tongue moved to lick his nose in comfort.
Blood and strength, you and Mama are in charge? I am a princess, right, Daddy? I have teeth too...I can be strong and important like you and Mama, but also like me?
She wasn't sure if her question made sense, but a little part of her hoped he would understand.
