A long-awaited, deeply cherished litter is about to be blessed to Emperor Shēnléi and his First Wife, Empress Yuè of Tianlong. The first Royal litter born to the new world, hopefully ushering in a New Age of peace, prosperity, and expansion for Tianlong!

Over the years of their marriage, Yuè and Shēnléi struggled to produce an heir of their own, a male who would eventually take over the reins from his father and continue the Imperial line. Instead, it was stillborns and miscarriages that greeted the ever-hopeful pair. But now, with Heaven’s blessing, they will become proud parents of a new era.

An assurance and a blessing both.

Born beneath Heaven’s eye, blessed by both Crane and Dragon, these children will not be raised as ordinary pups. They are Imperial children of Tianlong, loved and cherished, but also born beneath expectation, ceremony, birth order, gender roles, and the needs of the dynasty. Sons will be raised to serve and strengthen Tianlong. Daughters will be raised to preserve and extend it. And the heir, should Heaven bless them with one, will be raised to one day become it.

The next era of Tianlong will be inscribed by the heavens on July 31st, 2026!

This litter will be conducted a little differently than what is considered “normal” for Vivarium. Instead of established names, genders, birth order, heir status, and Marks of Mythris will be dice rolled on JULY 25TH, 2026! Because of this, we are strongly encouraging applicants to apply with a flexible, unisex concept that can work regardless of the final rolls.

Once rolls are completed, applicants will have time to adjust details accordingly while still keeping the heart of their original concept before the puppies birth.

Please understand before applying that the heir, if there is one, will be held to a more rigorous activity level than everyone else in the litter. They will have heavier expectations IC and OOC due to their role as the future of Tianlong’s Imperial line. The others will still have plenty of plot hooks, family ties, and room to grow, but the heir will naturally come with more responsibility. Because of this, we ask that you understand that activity will be heavily regulated with this litter.

These puppies will have a large, pre-established, active family ranging from proud parents, two amazing older half-sisters, a stepmother, a grand uncle, extended relatives, mentors, governesses, teachers, and hopefully many more family relations to follow. They will also come with potential plots involving court politics, sibling dynamics, religious expectations, gendered upbringing, future marriage prospects, succession pressure, and the weight of being born to both the Emperor and Empress.

It is also important to note that these babies come with art purchased by both Rosie and myself. Therefore, we have attached our adoption TOS to the bottom of the document linked above. Please be sure to read it thoroughly before applying!

Each puppy is open to applicant interpretation. Names (male and female), personalities, future goals, and overall character ideas should ideally be able to work whether the puppy is rolled male or female, heir or non-heir, eldest or youngest, and blessed or burdened by their Mark of Mythris should they have one.
