Wardruna had been incredibly lazy, for lack of better words for it. There wasn't really any way to spice it up, for Wardruna's own focus had been placed upon her pups since they had been delivered to her and Sreda by the gods themselves. As Raisa's own making, actually. Her babies, born of blood magic under the yggdrasil. The world then had been breaking into chaos and she did not know how much time she would have with her pups… but then they all survived! And Wardruna embraced a knowing that she had many days ahead, her and her family. Their members had raised from the days when her brother reigned and there were so few. The workload spread between far more and she could relax as a Queen might.
So, the feast which had been made in celebration of just being alive and the promotions which came along with it had been some moons late… The thought of postponing Raisa's own placement in the pack had lingered in her thoughts, for surely the woman needed time to mourn. Not to mention, Wardruna did not want her to think she got the position out of some sort of pity. It was not the way of things here. Nor was a raise in position simply because who's blood flowed through your veins. Anyone who lived in Northfall surely was aware of Raisa's hard work. Their hungry bellies drove them to full caches by the work of Raisa along her sister and Oberon.
The loss of a child was something Wardruna had yet to experience. Obviously, a thing she never wanted to experience. Unfortunately, it was likely inevitable, given just how large of a family Wardruna planned to achieve, especially so now with so much loss of her own siblings. One. One remained out of sixteen siblings, plus another large lot after her mother had left Northfall that she could barely remember the names of now let alone know their whereabouts. A father gone, a mother, a stepmother… But not a daughter, a baby girl. Life wasn't easy. It was never easy, but Wardruna would do her best to make it better, at least.
She would search for the woman now, who in her time here she felt did so much for Northfall and now, someday too so would her son and daughter. Fuck the man! What good deeds he had done was done, as far as Wardruna was concerned. Raisa's trail was found easily enough along with her pups, just outside of the area now dubbed Raisa's Ravine. Wardruna would woof out as she sees the woman. It was, in this moment, meant to be a warning of sorts, as Wardruna came barreling towards the other to engage a friendly spar. Did Raisa think she would get off easy becoming Regent of Northfall without a bit of a challenge? Afraid not.
