Settled in the Golden Glade of Spirited Highland is a small but close-knit group who are humble and generally kind-natured.

Once a ghost among his own flesh and blood, Dáfni Archon has created a kingdom of culture, wealth and love, alongside his Kardiá, Fable, striving to ensure no creature nor fae, should ever feel like a burden ever again. A mixed culture pack, Avon Odyssey holds traditions of (ancient) Greek and Irish roots. However, creatures of all cultures, lores, and species are welcomed here.

FESTIVALS

Each solstice - spring, summer, autumn, winter - is observed with a festival that often changes in some way from year to year. Most typically take place in the Festival Grounds, but may be held on the beach or other areas in and out of Golden Glade. These festivals differ by season but typically pay respects to the fae in some way.

2WK GRACE PERIODS

... for Tulips a short lil intro period of getting to know each other. if they chose to leave, they can return later without consequence. new members are only given one 2wk trial. this can not be extended by leaving and returning continuously.~

LEAVES OF ABSENCES

... from the pack without prior OOC *and* IC communication is considered abandonment from the pack and will not tolerated. Youth (under 1 year) should be accompanied at all times if leaving pack borders.

Archon & Fable.
The leading pair who preside over the pack, striving to create a space where all can feel important, wanted, and supported in their endeavors. Through highs and lows, both are expected to think of the group as a whole as they make decisions. They possess the highest authority and responsibility.

( ❀ ) Healers / Peonies
Foxglove
Those committed to the art of healing. They are of great importance and their efforts are largely focused on keeping the pack's gardens healthy, herb caches full, and rendering care where required.

( ❀ ) Defenders / Larkspurs
Shiloh
The safety of the pack is important and it is up to the Larkspurs to protect and restore borders and thwart any threats that present themselves. A large part of the hunting falls to on the Larkspurs, but all members of Avon are encouraged to pull their weight. Larkspurs are capable of leading sparring lessons.

Asters are the storytellers, dancers, pupsitters, and banishers of boredom - they are responsible for enriching the culture and lives of those around them through song, dance, stories, and even pleasant conversation. They can sometimes serve as counselors, depending on their temperament. In a rough and tumble world, Asters are rays of sunshine.

Sycamore
The fae of the pack, designated at Avon's Roses for the fae's close bond to the flower, are an invaluable blessing. They typically receive anything they ask for and are to be respected at all times. Fable believes any non-wolf creature with the ability to speak plainly is a fae.

Lilies are the symbol for new life, and thus, so are children.

( ❀ ) Unranked / Tulips
Amaranta
While most have come to know the Tulip as a signature of love, it can also be a signature of understanding & mutual connection - which is why Avon has selected this as their rank new members.

A rank with absolutely no standing within the pack that it shouldn't even exist, yet somehow does. This role is usually reserved for members who have lost their social standing within the pack and are attempting to rebuild trust with their packmembers.
