Well...So are my characters! You're in the right place for a little matchmaking! - As a note, this is a pairing-focused thread. While romance isn't the end-all be-all for our characters, it can be fun! While pairings may not work out or hit it off, please remember to keep plotting in this thread focused on matchmaking. If you want to organize a recruitment, a fight club, etc: my dms are open.

All of my characters are rated 3-3-3. This means sexual themes may become present in any threads, as well as vulgarity, violence, manipulation, and more. Some aspects of these on some characters may be able to be limited for my rp partner's comfort - communication is key, and I am happy to work with you. Specific warnings will be marked as necessary.

Brine lets her heart do her thinking for her before her brain catches up. She's very intuitive and impulsive, and is attracted to others based on her connection with them. She also has some commitment issues and is still figuring herself out. Basically she's my hot mess of a character! She is very likely to create drama, but with the right partner, could mature and develop something much more healthy and long-lasting.

any 'dealbreakers'?
"Can't try n' change me - others have already tried n' failed. Cheatin' won't fly, and neither will bein' rude to me, or others, for no good reason."

Brine has never had her heart broken - she is the heartbreaker. She is haunted by what she's left behind. Ultimately, she is like the sea - unable to be balming and beckoning without becoming wild and untamable all the same. Like a selkie, Brine guards her freedom more harshly than her heart.

Cupid is quick to fall into casual infatuation or into bed with another. Deeper connections, however, are hard to come by. He loves love, but knows how easily it sours. As such, he finds it hard to give his heart away. A wolf who can sweep it away from him before he can close himself off, or a wolf capable of proving they are worthy of his trust are good options.

"You'll find I'm....flexible. Mistreat those I care for, and a failed relationship will be the least of their problems."

Barring significant changes, he will never leave Freya's side. In addition, Cupid's rank is 'Courtesan'. A wolf who cannot accept that he loves and lusts freely and without restraints will find it hard to create a functioning relationship with Cupid.

I would like to potentially work toward an eventual accidental pregnancy plot. I am kind of hoping for multiple sires, as it adds to the drama! The puppies will be well-loved, raised in PD & there are some potentially angsty details that could give some fun plots to play out too.

"A woman of good standing, who is charming and smart. Ideally, well, we get along quite well. And attractive, I suppose."

Romance is secondary to Francis - raised to be a king, he takes his duties seriously and has long since resigned himself to marriages borne purely out of political gain. In his ideal world, he gets along quite well with his partner and can trust her to support him in his efforts to care for his kingdom. Romances that challenge the strict worldview he has of what romance can be for Francis would be interesting. Arraigned marriage plots are definitely welcome too. It is possible that he is not attracted to women at all - but he has quite a bit of internalized homophobia and this is something being explored ICly.

any 'dealbreakers'?
"Well, if I'm being frank, any partnerships where she is particularly unpleasant or the marriage doesn't bring any particular benefit to those in my care seems...pointless."

He will not leave the Concord, and his partner must get along with his sister, Mauve. Francis does have standards, strict ones, and is unlikely to allow himself to pursue a partnership with someone he sees as potentially harming social status, no matter what he desires. (He is set up quite nicely for a sort of 'starcrossed' type of romance, potentially.)

Francis, in his previous life, was married and had a child on the way. However, he lost his wife and unborn child to pregnancy complications. He is very close to what family he has left and would love to have children, but is extremely unlikely to do so out of wedlock, unless via adoption. He also has some trauma surrounding the tragedy in his past - this will be a major plot point should he ever have children.

"I wander across the Highlands often. I also enjoy attempting to tame the owls roosting in our castle. They are proving an interesting challenge."

He doesn't wander far from Concord territory. If he sees someone in need it's unlikely he'll be able to stop himself from trying to assist. He isn't very good at hunting yet, and just sort of herds the Highlands sheep around - training threads are a great option for bonding.

Lavender's self-esteem isn't the strongest thing. As someone used to giving all of himself to others to support them, a partner than can support him in kind would be ideal. Alternatively, a partner who enjoys and relies on his skill and desire to be of help to others without encouraging him independent growth would be interesting.

There is a spine beneath all the silken fur and flower petals. While I imagine he'd find rugged individuals quite intriguing, overtly crass or cruel wolves may find it difficult to garner positive, romantic feelings from Lavender. As stated - he would be devastated if his partner did not get along with his family.

He needs more character development before he has kids, lol. One day, definitely. ICly, he comes from a big family and is enjoying his time figuring out his own identity out in the world. I am unlikely to roll for possible accidental pregnancies, but it's not impossible.

He enjoys decorating other wolves, stealing herbs, as well as 'interviewing' (interrogating) them about where they've been. He is a sponge for knowledge, and will latch onto those who have it. Like a vampire, without the biting or emo-ness.

Macadamia is a wolf often in their own head. A contrasting mix of strictly logical and emotionally attuned, they have trouble exiting their constant planning and musings on the world around them. A partner who can pull them back to the real world without encroaching on their style of living is ideal. They prefer formal courtships over casual dating.

"Uncouth, vulgar, cruel sorts...I don't want them anywhere near me. I would...like a partner. A kindred spirit, and an equal."

They aren't interested in being a punching bag, emotionally or otherwise - they've been through enough of that. Mac may struggle if their partner requires they join a pack, depending on the pack itself.

They are very interested in providing formal or informal parenting to those needing it! Biological children may be harder to come by, as they are unlikely to be interested in a fling without emotional connection. (And they would very much want to be involved in any potential children's lives.)

Midge is a somewhat quirky, high-energy woman. She thrives with a partner who is their own kind of strange, or at least more than willing to accept her oddities. With them comes a bright and supportive individual, a devoted partner with a mischievous side and a protective streak. She is not incapable of speaking - those who are very close to her may be spoken to eventually, but it takes a lot of trust for her to do so.

She is fiercely independent, and comes with a bit of baggage. Dark romances are a possibility, as she is not a purely morally 'good' character. Abusive relationships are unlikely to be tolerated, as she has had some bad experiences in the past and would be very motivated to avoid red flags. She is willing to join her partner's pack.

"Ideally, someone...worthy. Interesting, and...challenging. I expected once to enter a marriage for diplomacy's sake...I don't consider that option unrealistic, either. 'Ideal' isn't a fantasy I'm thrilled to entertain."

Solulfur knows what she wants and who she is - except when it comes to love. She's pretty closed off, and a tough nut to crack just to befriend. Any potential partner will have to make themselves stand out to her. Maybe that's a rival or enemy she begins to begrudgingly respect, or an acquaintance she finds particularly intriguing and enjoyable to be around. She basically knows nothing about romance but tends to approach such unknowns with a high level of formality. Propositions or flirting are likely to either go over her head, or she will assume the other wolf is singing her praises (as she thinks they should be.) I am open to arraigned marriage plots, if that pans out ICly.

It is unlikely she will leave Dawnbreak unless married for diplomatic gain. This will mostly be based on IC interactions. Toxic or dark romances are options but end-game, I would like something healthy and supportive for her.

Zora seeks to feel seen for who she is and accepted. Possessive, manipulative and cold - yet a fiercely supportive wolf when she truly opens up. A true viper, Zora is attracted to individuals that pique her curiosity - those of a similar nature, whether they burn hotter than she or lurk in the darkness alongside her. She is inseparable from Gladiator.

She is incredibly sensitive to rejection or feeling 'second best'. Zora will never be an overtly altruistic and gentle wolf, and those who want to fix her should stay far away. She is more than willing to toy with someone's heart long after she has decided she doesn't care for them. Any efforts to remove her from Dia's side will be met with venom.
