The flower nymphs frame was curled within a ball of peaceful slumber, fairly oblivious to the world around her – since within the confounds of her mind, she dreamed.

Home within the fields, waltzing among the wildflowers that bloomed along the hillside as her skin drank the warmth of sunlight. She giggled playfully as she ran as fast as her stubby, puppy legs could carry – her sisters chasing closely behind. She hadn’t known if it had been Celine or Chloe that rammed into her first, but the three young girls found themselves colliding and tumbling down the hillside together. Celine had cried as usual, Chloe had laughed, and Centri had found herself grumpy and the newfound headache she’d gotten.

When the woman had woken up, however, she’d found that there was no hillside or flowers, for that matter. Her lashes had fluttered open, tagged with specks of snowflakes that had fallen from the sky. Centri lifted her head to find herself surrounded by an entire field of snow and ice, darkened stems of what she assumed used to be flowers now fallen. A confused, forlorn expression soured her features as she observed her surroundings, and she didn’t hesitate to howl.

Lifting her head to bellow out a long, drawn out call. For her mother - for her sisters – anyone she knew….

A change of plans became apparent when Geirolf lost track of his previous guide. He gave it some time for her to show herself, even trying to track down the woman himself once his patience had reached its limit. But when she couldn't be found, gone without a trace, he had given up for the time being. Instead his trails took him southward, the bitter winter still taking hold of the southern plains and small mountain ranges. Where once was flowers and grasses as far as the eye could see, now layed a barren snow covered wasteland.

The hulking wolf looked for signs of life when ever he could, scavenging on left overs here and there when the opportunity rose. He was not above such things, as it was a show of good survival skills. Not that he couldn't hunt, but it was better to take a hold of good opportunities when he saw them. On this particular morning however, it was a howl that caught his attention. Geirolf headed in the direction of the call, letting out a howl of his own in a cautious but friendly gesture. It had been some time since he ran into another wolf. With the onset of loneliness creeping up on him, perhaps it was time for a new face.

Her howl progressively lowered into silence, ears perking up at the sound of a returned call. Yet it was not the song of her sisters, nor her mother – rather, it was a deep, masculine tune that she did not recognize. There was no doubt that she’d been disappointed to know this, yet mixed within it was an air of relief….she was not alone. In a cold, dreary looking field with no sign of home to be found, the last thing the fae wished to be was by herself.

Centri’s silver orbs trailed over her shoulder to look behind her, meeting a gaze of fire and ice on the backdrop of a shadowy mask. The man was large, intimidatingly so, and his build reminded her of a warrior. Yet the flower nymph did not fear her newfound company – instead, she regarded him gently with a warm smile, a tail swaying behind her in gentle, pendulum-like swings.

Hi…Hello! She greeted chipperly. That is how the non-villagers greeted each other, right? Either a hi or hello...she just didn’t know which one to use.

So she used both.

A warrior indeed. Only this one wasn't your ordinary fighter. A Viking with a sense of humor, and with a heart that is a little on the lighter side of things. Geirolf came closer to the wolf's location, slowing down once he saw the earth coated figure. She was not a bad sight, with a soft expression and a voice like a pretty bell. Hello there. You alright? He was careful not to spook her. It was possible that she might be afraid of him, so it was best to not push this one's buttons too soon. Not like the other woman who almost bit his head off. I'm sorry if I have startled you. Just came into the area from up north. You new here? An eyebrow went up slightly in curiosity, waiting for the woman to reveal her identity and her reason for looking mildly distraught.
