What a strange world... Yuka was quite fond of it. From the moment she found herself emerging from the unusual cave, she could hear cheering in the near distance. Smell an alluring aroma of food, and before she knew it, she was invited to sit amongst a myriad of wolves—all different shapes and sizes, colors and mannerisms... whilst she remained disconcerted by the loss of her familiar homeland, this was... not necessarily a bad alternative.

Yuka helped herself to the feast she was offered—attempted to try the fermented berries but found herself repulsed by its taste and the effects it had on her mind. The fete seemed to never cease, but the leopard's energy waned the longer she resided amongst the rambunctious canids, and eventually, she turned and subtly made her exit.

She didn't leave—merely took a moment to catch her breath, perching on a rock about half a mile away from the endless celebrations. She rasped her tongue over the broad pads of her forepaws, grimacing at the lingering taste of alcohol.

Nightfall always lulled Yuka into an impenetrable state of serenity. Stars glistened overhead, and the moon—now a mere sliver against the pitch sky—grinned down at her with an expression of clemency that the feline returned happily.

Even when her peace was interrupted by the sound of snow crunching beneath a set of paws, she was tranquil. Her ears twitched in acknowledgment, her long tail slithering to rest against the boulder. Is someone there? She inquired softly toward the approaching footfalls, far too entranced by the scintillating stars to turn her head to see for herself.

As 'fun' as it was to watch the drunken party goers, Polly grew tired of it all, seeking her escape further up the mountain. Away from all the hustle and bustle, away from her pet dog, letting the creature get it's last taste of freedom before she closes her jaws around his throat again.

It was cold, dark, the stars above lightening her path for you.

Hiding the snow leopard from her until it called out.

The teenager paused, ears swiveling towards the voice before her eyes were able to pick out the figure, staring her down before approaching. The leopard wasn't mindlessly attacking the wolves around, so she figures the beast was much like their tiger. Yes, what are you staring at? Pollux questioned, staying a respectable distance away. She wasn't about to fight something like this single handedly, after all. All that's up there is stars

Skill: Astronomer.

Yuka's ears momentarily pointed forward in surprise. A part of her didn't truly expect anyone to be present. Still, the initial shock was short-lived, and the feline returned to her fastidious inspection of the midnight sky.

The massively long tail returned to its position against her paws. 'All that's up there is stars.' ...they're beautiful, aren't they? She hummed quietly, watching the scattered forms of far-away celestial bodies. Each with their own presence...so small, yet so bright. Yuka didn't seem to mind her own eccentric words. She knew she was probably a tad off her rocker—perhaps it was those abhorrent berries or even the lack of her daytime naps.

Perhaps this was just how she was.

Don't you ever take the time to look and appreciate them, dear? She asked, already anticipating a hard no. But that didn't stop her benevolent words, nor did it halt a lingering desire to teach this youth to be grateful for such trivialities—but perhaps that was wishful thinking.
