The large lanky wolf had taken a few days to rest inside the dilapidated house, meeting a new wolf in the process, her limbs vibrated with fear as she carefully pulled herself from the hut and sniffed around a few times to make sure there were no humans around. Once she was sure that the coast was clear she pulled her tall tan body from the house and began to walk around the perimeter to sniff for old signs.
She didn't find any, not animals no humans, nothing but the scent of the rain that had been falling for days on end. Thankfully it had ended today.
Ket yipped a few times as she started her way through the broken down buildings and farm fences. Large ears twitched as she absorbed the sounds of birds twittering and rabbits racing nearby. Music to hear ears, a lack of wolfen footfalls.
Suddenly she tripped over her own feet, stumbling a few inches before falling flat on her face, rump high in the air as she laid with closed eyes and a tongue hanging from her lips.
