There is a fjord coming from the coast, which cuts into the mountains and snakes southward. As this fjord makes it's exit from the mountains, it decends into streams of waterfalls, plummeting into what becomes the crisp, clear waters of the Sterling River. When coming to Northfall from the south-east you will be met with its roaring of water.


This jut out perch offers one of the best (if not the best) view of the fjord as it cuts through the territory from the sea. Often a place where the great King Ragnar would sit.


The King's Den. Once the densite of King Ragnar. A large cavern with a wide opening, high in the mountains. Fitted with all manners of trinkets and “battle prizes” including pelts, antlers, bear claws, walrus and boar tusks and skulls. After his death, it was made into a place to honor him as he takes to godlihood as Ragnar of Ragnorok. Blood letting and animal sacrifices have also been preformed here for both Ragnar and other gods combined.


Far up within one of the highest peaks of the Northfall mountains, one may happen upon a narrow trail where the ice and snow breaks way from the warmth around. Streams lead unto hot springs broken off into several pools of milky green & blue. The pools are situated near the edge of a cliffside where spectacular views of the land can be seen. Has been referred as 'The Healing Mountain'.


Another large cavern, this one being hidden within the most central parts of Northfall and accessed in the lower elevations. It's entrance is mundane, appearing to be as any other little hollow on the side of the mountain-face, yet opens up to a little hidden forestry, fitted with “sky lights” and a stream which snakes through. It is warmer in here with a misty air. A good place to escape the harsh elements on the more bitter days.


An ice cavern, where the sun above gives quite a spectacular glow as it shines through the ice roofing. 


The Ice River, a glacier in the higher elevations and northern most part of Northfall. It never thaws, even in summer. While you'll never have to worry about falling through, sliced paws is common occurance.


A rare offering of vibrant color, standing out from the gray, white and green of rock, snow and pines. Arctic lupine clutter this hillside in the summer months.

11.17.24 During a snow storm, Ragnar slips away from Northfall and into the far north, without any intention of returning. King Ragnar led the pack for over three years. Will the kingdom fall without its king?
11.10.24: Frode's account has been marked as inactive and as such has been removed from the NF roster. He is considered MIA, dead to some, given his very poor health.
11.5.24 The Queen returns after having gone MIA for a time. Ronja is still out searching! The King is unpleased, yet does not seem to take action on the situation and receeds further into his seclusion.
9.13.24: The yearling ceremony has been done. Congratulations all apprentices into the adult ranks!
9.11.24: Āzon & Kolvar's accounts have been marked as inactive characters and as such, have been removed from the NF roster. They are now considered MIA.
June 2024 Many exciting things in June! A pack meeting is held, formally announcing Jasmine as the new Queen of Northfall. Visitors from Elysium arrive, first being the High Priestess herself and then the Vinekeeper along with a collection of her children, as possible matches for betrothals between Stormborn and Bacchus. A celebration is in order for the visiting allies. Come join the party!

• 5.10.24 The latest litter of Stormborns, along with the King's grandchildren, near their half-year and have now become apprentices as their training begins. 
• 3.28.24 Many changes for Northfall as the new year kicks off! All inactive members have been removed including: Burdock, Hank, Doc, Elysia, Skathi & Judith. After Freya is told of Ragnar's infidelity during her "death", the Queen leaves Northfall and takes a number of devoted followers with her including: Sovereign, Mermaid, Gjalla, Hvitserk & Ragnhildr. Despite a number of members lost, Northfall still holds strong and develops new foundations in Salene accepted during Ragnar's absence and of course, Jasmine, who saved Ragnar from certain death and thereafter, birthed the King's latest litter - Arvid, Frode & Sigurd (Journey). Amata has also given birth to her first litter in Elli, Ezra & Vitus! In the works of officially joining in an ongoing thread as well are Azon & Freya 2.0! There is also a chance that Delphine will be returning to us and new recruit, Kolvar! These threads are with Sylvi and not yet complete, but I didn't want them to feel excluded if I forget to throw an update about them later. :x Welcome everyone
• 2.3.24 The King returns! But all does not bode well, for with him is Jasmine, pregnant with the King's pups. A reunion between the King and Queen is sweet but short, after Freya is made aware of Ragnar's infidelity while she was missing. 
• 1.8.24 Queen Freya has returned to the world! Having been displaced by the gods, it has been months for us but only moments for her. Meanwhile, the King is still out in the high north as he regains his strength and is being healed by the gypsy, Jasmine. 
• 1.7.24 Without any success in finding Northfall's Queen, Ragnar leaves at the 1st of the year to search on his own. Here, he is plagued with visions of the gods and nearly looses his life (and definitely his eye) by a bear. On the 7th day of the new year, Wardruna performs a blood sacrifice ritual for the pack & family's peace and success in the new year. 
• 11.21.23 With the Queen still missing & much of Northfall dispursed, Ragnar has risen Ghidorah to the rank of Second-in-Command- Regent! His first assignment: find someone to take his place as Warlord. (thread ongoing but it's gonna happen)
• 11.20.23 Leviathan has been adopted into the Stormborn family! 
• 11.23 Many things have been happening recently in Northfall. Please welcome Mermaid & Lagertha as new members, as well as the return of Hvitserk & Serenity. In more dire news, the Goddess Queen, Freya, appears to have been kidnapped! Ase has left in a fury (not to return) & Ragnar calls a pack meeting in which much of Northfall's forces have gone out scouting in all directions in search for her. 
• 11.2.23 Warlord Ghidorah is hosting a fighting tournament! Northfall members and their allies have gathered to partake. In other news, due to Krakarak not being around for quite some time, our feathered friend has been demoted from Legate and back to the Watcher rank. 
• 11.2.23 Please welcome our newest northern girl to the pack, Sovereign!
• 10.23.23 A bit backdated, but the thread is wrapping up- please welcome Feyre to the pack!

• 9.21.23 Alder has come to Northfall to join its ranks & be trained as a warrior. Alot with him has come the long awaited return of Amata. Welcome back home!

• 9.9.23 Wardruna & Sylvi have stepped into the Honored ranks as Sentries. Elysia continues her training as she rises to Medic. In other news, Freya has returned from her trip to Elysium, where she has spoken to its leaders and assessed the yearlings there for possible betrothals! 
• 9.7.23 Although he hasn't made it yet to NF, Hvitserk has made it to the world & ended up in Elysium! Serenity unfortunately though has gone MIA after going out on a hunt.

• 6.8.23 Congratulations to Ghidorah, who has been granted the position of Warlord! Recently, he has found and defended the pack from a bear. Other accomplishments include fights against the enemy, Dragonford and taking a leading position along side Sindri while guarding NF during their leader's absences due to the trial against Vendrussel.

• 5.11.23 Slowly but surely more NF members are returning home, including Ase, Hank, Ghidorah & Serenity.
• 4.29.23 Life freezes with winter's embrace, awakening again at the height of spring. Once more, there is an Awakening. 
• 3.35.23 (VIA Canis version of NF) After the 'Freeze' (site close), when Canis comes to life again with the spring, nearly all of Northfall's members (along with many others in Canis) are gone without a trace and so successfully disbanding one of the largest packs of the lands. 
• 12.29.22 A little late on adding to the ranks, but let it be known a friend of Hank's- Doc and his companion, Cassian, have been a part of NF since the start of the trial in October. 
• 12.12.22 It would be noticed by now, a few members have wandered off, including Oksana, Chantico and Serenity's two remaining children, Kailani and Callista. There has been no evidence of foul play.
• 10.16.22 A few days after Ragnar & Freya's return to Northfall, a meeting is held. Freya has been accounced Queen of Northfall! 
• 10.14.22 While Northfall restlessly waits for the outcome, Ragnar and Freya travel to Elsewhen for the trial of Vendrussel. During which, she is struck down by lightning! The Alpha of Dragonford is dead!

• 9.13.22 Eirene is no longer among the living, having been found dead in the mountains after tripping and falling off a cliff.

• 10/28/21 - Northfall finds themselves with new enemies as a group of wolves decide to settle in the islands off the coast. In the wake of this, Ynness is murdered. War breaks. 
• 06/20/21 - The Stormborns travel to the north-west and discover a coastal mountain chain there. They claim the land as their new settlement, known now as Northfall.
• 04/03/21 - Ragnar & the majority of his pups wake up in the new world of Canis after a month’s travel to find a new land to call their own.
