The smile was gentle as she said he was being too positive - as if he could truly see her rejecting the potential of those who had come to Dawnbreak. Of course there was a great amount of risk too - they could of course come to be like Kuhn. They could betray the family that had taken them in, they could reject the concepts and bonds of what Dawnbreak was at it's core.

Tiberius might have been able to pull off his mangled appearance, but Vidarr was a touch vain. Still, from his place, he felt her weight settle upon him and had to chuckle. The dark rumble of his laughter grew as she climbed off him.
