Looking for runes!

After her experience in the fog, and the mysterious stranger, Ylva had been feeling like she needed to actually look for something. The memory haunted her every moment, waking or not, and the decision had come in the spur of the moment. In the end, she had half-reasoned with herself, telling herself that she could look for something close by.

And, in the end, her paws had carried her to the place where she had first reunited with Brynhild.

She wasn’t quite sure what she was looking for- she just hoped that, even here, it’d be obvious enough. The blue glow, even in the fog, had been. Maybe, if Ylva was lucky, it would be something like that.

Rune Discovery : 「 Pending success 」

Despite the clarity of the horizon and the touch of spring's warmth upon your fur, you find yourself struggling to catch your breath. It seems that the farther north you venture, the tighter your lungs feel, the more restricted your airway becomes - you correctly assume this must be a symptom of the foreboding changes to the world the Dream Visitor had warned you about. Despite your discomfort, you press on, urged by a desire you can't quite place, like an itch you can't scratch.

Winterscar lake stretches out before you like a sea of glass, its surface now only half-frozen thanks to the onset of spring.

Somewhere deep below the silent waters, a figure rests in dreamless darkness. Your mind's eye suddenly flickers to a vision of a kind face surrounded by a great mane of fur, but it quickly fades when you're overcome by a short series of rasping coughs.

A cold wind blows, and you turn your head away from it - which points you directly toward something strange. You can see a faint blue glow pulsing beneath the snow, and a feeling of urgency pushes you to investigate.

Do you?
